Unlike you I'm willing to give other games a chance, Gt didn't exactly invent racing games now did it. You on the other hand kiss sony's ass a little too much to be healthy, your willing to believe the ps2 is capible of doing anything, even if you know deep down your talking crap.

Cobra, a shocking fact for you, more power and 3d hardware = better graphics. I know, it's confusing, but think of it like pcs, what's better, onboard graphics or an X800? If you look at allmost EVERY ps2 conversion that's made it's way to the xbox, it looks better and sounds better. Now I;m not saying my xbox is a better machine, as I like em both and it's down to games etc, but you can't argue with tech specs. For example games like riddick etc could never be done in the same way on a ps2 as it's hardware is too old.

Gt4s cars are good (even if the texturing is abit grainy up close, has no interiors), but the tracks are pretty terrible, flat low res textures, and clipping issues in the distance. I won't even mention the 2d trees and flat lighting. I do think Gt4 is pretty, as the over all effect is very good and gives a good sense of realism,but you do go abit over the top

Oh you are the comic genius, where's this 30 fps thing come from??? RSC2 runs at 60, and in terms of pure graphic quality eclipses Gt4 from quite a height (don't get me wrong, GT4 will be better).
I'm not a fanboy cobra, I'm just not blinded with ridiculous brand loyalty like you are, but I do feel the need to respond when utter crap is said about a system I like.
