I Have Gt4!!!

Ok, when you load a car in LAN and/or 2 player mode, does it have all the mods you've done to it, or just the car, please, someone tell me.

If you own the game, just take a modded car and test this for me please, I want to know for 2 player, but more so for LAN...(XLINK)

Mad props goes to Game Crazy. They were supposed to have it at the store I went to at 8:30 pm. I got there and they said the plane was delayed and it would not be in the store until 9. They closed at 9, but were gonna stay open till 9:30 for the GT4 peeps.

The manager called the employee at the desk from the airport and reported he only got enough for preorders.(I didn't preorder) So the guy at the store called another Game Crazy about 10 mins away to see what they got. They were getting 90+ copies in and only had 45 preorders, and they were to arrive in about 15 minutes from the airport. Gave mad props to the GC employee for being such a big help and booked over to the other store.

I got there and there were about 20 people waiting for GT4(only 3 peeps at the other store). 5 minutes after getting there the manager walked in with a huge stack of boxes filled with GT4. Everyone was walking out with smiles on their face, including myself.

Game Crazy was supposed to be the only store getting it tonight around here, at about 9:00. They said they would be open until 10:00 because of GT4. I call around 8:20 before im getting ready to leave, to ask if they are still getting it tonight... i get a "no, tomorrow now.."

I'm very sad, and Fry's Closed at 9... it was too far of a drive to make it there in time, prolly would have gotten there as they were closing or something. Sad day.
Alas, tomorrow will be the time..

Thats the same story i got at a game crazy near seattle too. I have it pre ordered at an EB, i was just trying to see if i could get it early. Do you mean to say Frys in Renton had it? I drove rat past Fry's on my way home! DOH DOH DOH
 
WooT! I picked it up at Gamestop today at 4:00pm (PST). I think they were the only ones in the mall that had the game.

Tomorrow I'll pick up the game and then I'm going to test drive a new car because I've decided to get rid of the car I have now. I don't know what I'm more excited for - to test drive a new car or get home and play GT4!! :dopey:

I got the game this afternoon and although I love it to death, there are a few things that bother me. The AI is still as predictable as ever following the same hard-coded line no matter what, too bad. The B-Spec mode is more of a gimmick than anything else and the load times are just a tad too long. Lastly, and to answer your question, no, the cars do not carry over the mods that you have done to them.
 
Yeah, im pretty sure the fry's in renton would have had it.
That is a massive store. I've not been to the ones in california, although i used to live there, so i dont know how to compare it, but they would carry just about anything.

Too bad though, but hey, they are one of the electronics stores that open the earliest 8am if you arent already working by then (most people usually are, so its not much consolation)

so is it just like the japanese version for 2p? cuz i thought once you buy the car, it unlocks it un arcade mode, and same with 2p mode. or do you actually go into your garage and pic your car? though without its settings.
 
yeah i have it!! but it doesnt work, and im starting to get mad! :grumpy: anyone know what could be wrong? it just doesnt load at all, i have no mod chips either
 
I got it! Haha, about 30 mins after i replied to this thread (first page) i went and reserved a copy quickly before the shipment came in.. It came in around 7pm, and i went and picked it up.. I just inserted the disc and am now looking at the gt world screen. :D

Time to play!
 
Well, I'm happy to report that my old driving force works nicely once I got used to it, and what I really like is the fact that you can start playing a 2 player game all over again without having to go back to the start screen, you can just "re-race"...very cool

Played around with it, nothing serious, but mostly because it's just too late to get serious. Tomorrow is another story.

Quit showboating and rubbing it in until March 1oth when the rest of the world has it.

But then again, maybe I can put up with it, knowing we PALers get extras ...
 
It's finally here. It feels like Christmas waiting in line at GameStop.. Oh never mind I was the first one in line. AHAHHAHAHAH Its here. The guy with the dilema is missing out if he wait for his in the mail. Go borrow it if you can.HAHAHHA
