All the salespeople went car crazy and we sold a sh!itload of cars within the last week. On the luxury models (a.k.a. Lexus) the customers get to customize their car (I hate optional parts...). And that's what I've been doing lately. The races are always good. I've only raced once, and it was against some guy with a 3S-GE Levin. Basically, an easy win for me down the worst road in Japan... Iroha-zaka. Some guy in a BNCR33 wanted to race me. I said sure, I can probably destroy a heavy R33 GT-R at Iro. Then he says something about Wangan, and I was mad because R33 vs. AE86 on the straights... yeah anyways. I finally know everything about my dad's engine now. Do you ever remember the MOMO SW20 that used to race in GT-300 JGTC? Well, there you go. It's that same 3S-GTE but tuned for street useage. It pushes EXACTLY 615ps @ 8900rpm using 2.5bar of boost. I want it. He still won't let me drive it or at least let me ride with him... As for anything new... I met a kid with a white FC3S with a 13B-REW swap. He just moved from Great Britain and he stopped by my shop when he noticed my car. I think his parents bought a new Toyota. He brought the car from GB and it's really powerful. So I showed him around, and he told me that in GB they do touge battles, but I find that hard to believe. I've never heard of it. He lost his first race against a RPS13 with a stock CA18. I saw him race, and all I saw was understeer in a car that pushes over 350ps. Later on, I found out he was using the stock brakes and suspension. So I helped him out finding parts. He has a lot of money, so he made sure he got the parts overnight. I told him I would do it for nothing, you know, just to get him started with his racing, but he insisted that he pay me. And he gave me a lot of money, and payed for my girlfriend and I to go out to dinner... real nice isn't it? But, I did the suspension in 2 days, and the brakes my dad helped me on so I can get it done quicker. He's doing alright, but the kid needs some serious driving skills. So he begged me if I could teach him while he came over my house, and he said he would pay me, I refused because that's just wrong. But he HAD to, so I told my dad to teach him because I don't want him to piss on himself when I pull non-stop drifts. Kid has so much money... I told him to buy a FD3S but the FC is lighter, so it works pretty good. Other then that, nothing is new. I'm thinking of getting the overfender for my car, but I'm not sure if that will help me out. It's more weight. Oh yeah, my bumper was destroyed the other day. I hit a rock while drifting... tore that beast right off... then I ran over it...
Hey Tom, don't be a stranger. You know anything about this? https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showt...6414#post686414
I've seen them around. Only once on an AW11, but it's a popular aero tuner around here. They're still available, but they're costly for a non-carbon aerokit. Not many places carry Buddy Club... mostly VeilSide, Ab-flug, etc.

Great talking to everyone again... this was another one of my big posts, deal with it.

this is a late post (been busy) but i said i took his oppinion and took them well but im not giving up on the tercel. Its too bad that some people in this world cant make the most of wut they have.. personally im too broke to get a new car. and the tercel is gonna come out about 1/3 out of my pocket and my dad the rest.

Looks like this thread died... well I'm off to the races. I was challeneged at work so I asked him for a midnight battle since I had some things to do. The opponent is a very fast S15 that is new around here. Wish me luck... if anyone ever sees this.

-Tom

Well, the S15 race... I almost hit the guy about 20 times because he started braking earlier than I expected. I ended up passing him on the outside about mid-way through the race. Other than his braking, it was just another ordinary battle. I get home to a message that says that I have to goto work that morning. So I'm off to work.

That's a good looking AE86, but if you buy it, will you be able to drive it in the U.S.?

-Tom

Well I'm sorry if I have no proof other than the site I made a while ago. I don't have a camera, and I don't know anyone that has one that will let me borrow it. Some companies took pictures of the three AE86's without my dad's permission. He flipped out and demanded that the pictures were never to be released in any magazine or website. And just like JDM-AE86 said...
and who cares if u dont believe him, y the hell r u even reading it then?
I only came on this board to help out people that had questions about real driving, real cars and real battles that I participate in. Now, some people are acting like the kids from the Club4AG forum, which I decided to never come back to because of ignorance on the boards.

Well, it's really early in the morning, and my best friend and I have decided my next project car. A 1991 FC3S. We looked around, and we found a black FC, in great condition and it's stock for 400,000¥ ($3,500USD). I also found a guy selling a 20B from a Mazda Eunos Cosmo for 220,000¥ ($2,200USD). I'm going to ask my dad what the FC + a 20B can do on the track. If I get the FC, chances are that I won't be using it for regular driving, but for circuit use only. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, since I don't really know much about the FC, I need some questions answered about the looks of the car. My dad doesn't know anything about aero kits so I can't ask him. Who makes the best performing aero kit for the FC? I'm not really focusing on the best looks, but I want a kit that will give me better aerodynamics... even if it's ugly. Well I need some sleep... I'm off for the rest of the week... time for boredom.

(Having not been bothered to sign up for a significant length of time, I figured I may as well start sometime.)

While I don't have the information for any aero tuning parts on hand, I'm sure between all of the serious drivers in here and the internet, we'll be able to turn something up. In the meantime, I'll get to seeing what I can't find. After all, an FC3S project sounds like a bit of fun.

Yeah, well it's official. I bought the FC3S last night. It's black on black leather, and completely stock. I'm trading in the 13B for the 20B-REW (not an even swap) this morning, which is where I'm about to go. I still have an hour before the place opens though. My dad is going to give me his lesson on building the perfect ready to go. I want to repaint it white so it can match the rest of the cars we own. Well I'm off.

-Tom

Leave it black... as long as the paint is in good condition dont waste your time repainting it... i think it looks sweet in black... and hey black matches white...

Yeah the black would go as a good accent color with all the white cars. The 20B-REW is in my garage, and my is it pretty. It was 180,000¥ ($1,500USD) after the 13B trade. I will begin work on the engine tomorrow. My best friend bought a Mitsubishi Starion with a nice 4G63 in it after my dad agreed to work on that one. It's red, and he wants to make it black. So leaving the FC3S black is a possibility. I will need to get it repainted because it still has the original paint and it's a little faded due to oxidation. Usually when I buy a car from the mid-late 1980's, I fix it up, and sell it. But since I have the 20B-REW, I'm thinking about keeping this one. Well... three guys, six cars... not bad. Well I need to do something, so I will talk to all of you later.

-Tom

Wow, how lucky are you? If only FCs were so easy to get over here in the US that's in good condition. Are you planning on racing the car after you put the 20B-REW in it?

To people how was listening to my tercel dealy.. I ditched it for a 96 integra GSR for 3000 bucks and 150 a month from a very good friend... im soooo excited. heres a pic:

its ok, i don't like painted interiors - do something about that and just don't be a ricer, just put like a c/f hood on it and 18" volk te37's and keep it real, no fugly body kits or anything - the type-r lip is good enough unless u want to do a JDM type-r conversion and that would be good also...

Of course, the 20B-REW isn't just for show. I race every car we own except my dads. My friend wants to drift in something that's unexpected, so the Starion is going to need a drift suspension setup. I'm only going to rebuild the 4G63BT and clean it up. The goal is to restore it to original specifications. The only thing that won't be original is the BRIDE seat that I will put in it (they are so comfy).

A better switch, but do exactly what exhaust_note says to do. Don't go crazy.

I'm off...

Yeah.. It dont look good inside cause that was done not professionally... It was given by a friend. As for the CarbonFibers.. I dont wanna put it cause doesnt look nice.. i think and i dont really have 3000 to blow on it. Id rather buy the 17" te-37s than the CF hood

It's Saturday! Time for battles... Tonight is only a free night though, so no 'official' battles. The FC3S is amazing. My dad and I installed the 20B-REW this morning, but I still need a few things to make the car run great. My suspension is in my garage, along with the new brakes, wheels, and tyres that I plan on putting on today (I still have 9 hours until I leave tonight). I scheduled the paint for the car. It's called 'carbon black metallic.' It should stand out from the rest of the crowd. My friend is doing minor things to the Starion. He's only restoring it to original condition, so he won't need a serious setup. Well I need to finish the car. Bye.

-Tom

Well, that sounds like fun. Be sure to write when you can if anything interesting happens, and maybe some in-depth details about the FC3S' performance. Have fun!
