Actually it's a V12 and some large HKS GT2835 turbines and you know... four Power & Sports HKS cams... the usual things... I wish I could post it on here.

In the U.S., the 1982 Celica GT. What are it's stats? My friend in Florida is getting one fairly cheap, and I want to know what are its stats so I can build him an engine that will suit it right.

they r custom STi rims, its called the Subaru STi Electra 1, its based off a Impreza but is highly modified, it was a one make car

Diety - I think you'd like the car, they're lots of fun. I prefer it over the AE86 in most ways. My parents offered to sell me their AE86 for $2k, I might have taken it if I had more money to play with. For $1k I would have bought it... it'd be my comfy daily driver while the MR2 would be the racecar. :)
 
Well people, it was great talking with all of you for the past couple of weeks. Thankfully, my shop is back, and I'm returning to work today. I'll check periodically to see what's going on over here. See you guys later...

heys guys. ive been thinkin a little...heres what i thought up for a nice project. i want take a 92-93 integra LS/GS (the non-v-tec ones;) ) and make it an all motor high 15 sec (1/4 mile) car that handles VERRRRRRY well. almost prefect. what do ya think? am i crazy or is this somethin a 17y/o can do?
 
it will never handle perfect. its FF drivetrain makes it prone to under-steer. not even if you stagger tire sizes and fiddle with the suspension all you want..you wont handle like an FR car. plus integras are chick cars..lol
 
a maita is a chick car too but they handle GREAT! and i with some tuning and the right driving there can be very little or no understeer. besides i would like to have just little understeer for saftey.
 
Hey Deity and Thio. the Tercel Project is back up :D ... It turns out that the engine were going to use is the 4age with a J-spec 1.3L factory Turbo motor from the Mr2 and not the 3s-gte. One thing that bothers me is that the Mr2 Engines are Rear Wheel drive and a tercel is FF. how is this gonna work out?

Dood thats far from "riced". He spent more cash on engine s:censored:it than Body and wing. etc etc. It has a "simple yet cool" look to it. Besides i only think that the riced cars are the ones with the ugly clear lites and over dramatic bodykits.... EWWWW!:yuck:

so he wasted some money onthe engine. whats it run high 15's? the body is verrrry fugly. and that wing OMG:eek: :yuck: ITS A FWD CAR!!!
 
he wasted his time and money. a tercel can never really look good or go very fast. if your going to trick out a car..do it to a car that deserves it.
 
Any car could be fast if you put enough money into it, but I don't think a Tercel will ever look good. That Tercel posted wasn't that ricey except for the wing...which looked hideous, but I've seen much much worse body kits than that.
 
the part about finding a AE was only the 1st 2 pages, then we jacked his thread, so basically after page 2, your looking @ stuff that has nothing to do with buying or finding a AE86

There's no use in modifying the Tercel. No matter what you do to the car, it's still going to drive like any other Tercel. If you know what Tercels were made for, then you wouldn't have thought about making that decision. It's absurd to modify an economy car to make it race. If you want to do it the right way, purchase a car that can withstand the twist and the flex coming from the engine. The Tercel wasn't made for that. Cars like the 240SX, Hachi Roku, Hachi Go, Skyline, Supra, and many other sports cars are made to withstand that. Tercels aren't.

Now that guy is just wasting his time in modding a Tercel. It doesn't make sense because the original purpose of that car is to drive around town and save gas. The suspension can't withstand all the torque coming from a different powerplant and the chassis is going to twist more than it's used to. Unless you don't have enough money to purchase a good car or you just want to have fun tuning cars up, then I'm not suggesting you to do that to the Tercel. On an Integra, RSX, Celica, Focus, or any FF sports cars, then it makes sense because the structure of the car is made for that kind of abuse.
