Doesn't everyone?

But, dang, I sure do. I wish there were an easy way to like earn money online or something. I've got mad skillz, y0.

Guess I'll be grabbing a job at MC'ds in a few months...:(

It would be cool to write a book and have Oprah put it on her BookClub list and then be rich and stuff.

But then I wouldnt have the chance to lead a normal life with a normal car and a normal bank balance.

I hate being normal :(

i applied at the local save on foods today..2 guys just quit so im hoping to fill in one spot...pay is basic student wage but at least ill have some dough in the piggy.

So become a nomad.

That isn't normal, and it's cheap if you don't mind living under bridges and in gutters next to Tito Jackson.

Being normal is better then being sub-normal, but as most people are normal, it is worse then being richer-then-normal.

I used to make money buy Using EBay like a stock exchange. Id buy something for $250 and sell it for $300 or whatever it was goo way of making small amounts of money quickly and is incidently how I got my new phone. The seller dropped out and I was left with the phone.

I needed money (i wanted a PS2, a car etc) so i applied at Hungry Jacks (Burger King To Americans) now i'm living very comfortably, soon to buy a car.

That's why Hungry Jacks and Burger King have practically the same logo! :grumpy:

I just got a job in a local burger joint. Good pay as well. Frineds initially laughed at me when I said I got a job there, but they shut up very quickly when they found out how much I was getting paid ;) . Hoping to get a car with all this new dough :).

I wish i had a job right 'bout now. Nobody wants to hire a network tech. that's still not done with university :banghead:

I've been using computers half my life and at my last work placement (through co-op), I had administrative access to most of the servers @ my school district. The only reason I couldn't stay is because, in the final 2 months of my work term I had no boss. She was off on maternity leave so I there was nobody to go to management for me in order to help me out :p.

The degree is only for formal training & because I'm thinking of aiming for the management aspect of IT like MIS or who knows - maybe become a CIO.

Work comes hard during the winter when you 15. Can't mow grass and hard to get a job at a fast food chain because of age. May 11th I'll be 16, though, and it should leave me enough time to apply before the rest of the kids get off school and apply.

MacD's is ok for getting some quick cash, but it doesn't look great on the old resume down the line when you want a high rolling job.

I'd recommend trying to find some sort of filing office management answer phones secretarial work. If you've got mad skillz like you say, you could probably find a job doing some kind of computer related work... basic coding for a university proff who can't afford someone who really knows what they're doing (to do that, though, you'd have to be enrolled). Maybe a tech assembly line job at a computer shop.

Personally, I think grocery store checkout looks better than MacD's. Ever tried being a waiter?

A buddy of mine worked a jackhammer for the city one summer and came back ripped!!! Had to fight off the chicks.

Eh, just throwing out some ideas.

Mm.

Unfortunatly I don't live in "El Happino" city. I live in some small city in WV, of all places, where computer stuff(what I have my mad skillz in) isn't all that popular. Sure, people have computers, but still.

One option I'm thinking about. I'm working on my A+, if I got that I could open up a computer repair shop deal thing, probably make some money like that. I've currently got a deal hooked up with the local RadioShack owner, says he'll highed me what I turn 17. My oldest brother worked there so he put a good word in, so if the boss is still there when I turn 17 that should be nice.

I could probably have my A+ in a few months, though. That'd surely look good in a resume. If there was a computer repair shop around I'd surely be all over it, and maybe there is one, I just don't know where it is. I should look around. I wouldn't mind being a worker at a grocery store, but I'm not sure they'd higher me until I was 18. If I did work there I'd love to be a stocker, no one is around messing with you and you do it at night. I'll have to check into that, too. Perhaps while I'm working on getting one I could try and do stuff for a couple people I know, kind of hint around that I do that stuff. Hmm...

That's what I did. I got a job in a doctor's surgery. Couple of hours after college every day, weekends are free, and I don't come home reeking of burgers. Plus I now have over £5k to buy a car with.

I'm only 17, and I got a great first job, I work at an auto shop changing oil and fixing flats and basic stuff like that...and I get 11$ and hour....sure beats minimum wage.....:D
