I'm a hardcore fan of the TDU series but Atari seems to have abandoned TDU. So, Polyphony Digital should by the TDU series :D

Definitely not! As a GT fan I really don't like this idea!

We can't have any more "side project's", we need Kaz and his team to press on developing GT5, or even producing GT6. I would rather if PD tried to make a more realistic simulator made with the same style of the previous games, not this arcade/adventure mush!

This is a very good idea. But they would have to rename it, Test Drive is a trademark of Atari, they ARE coming out with a new TD game called Test Drive: Ferrari or something like that later this year.

We could need another game like it. TDU is the only one in its genre and has great potential, but is ruined because the Atari fired almost all of the staff working on it, so it has few updates, terrible online stability and lots of hackers. So Polyphony could potentially make it a great game.

PD is working on 3 projects right now (PS Vita game, GT5 updates & DLC and GT6) and I don't believe they have the resources to take another IP.

Are they working on a Vita game? What would that be called?

Abandoned? You've got Ferrari Racing Legends coming out soon and Unlimited 2 came out last year!

Atari sold the franchise, can't recall to who but it starts with a "B". Slightly Mad Studios (GTR2, nfS**t and S**t2: Unflushed) is doing the developing.... although after Shift and Shift2 that's not exactly the greatest news...

With the franchise sold I wonder if the game will get the attention it deserves I'm going back to tdu2 after a while because of dlc2.

What I've seen in TDU 2, it's below terrible! (Other than driving)
If this is the future for PD, I'd rather play Forza 4. And yet people complain about how bad GT5 is...
