Was looking at it close up in the dealership and it is very nice to look at!


Looking at the table, as long as you show your face you will win the league. I just wanna beat skengdigi for 2nd now..

how about next week anything goes against Soopa, pit manouveres, punts etc all ok against me only, I still abide by the normal rules... could be fun :)

LOL you would still win mate. Being as "average" as you are and all that. I rate my self as so far below average I cant even see it ! :sly:

Glad to hear it! I do have a strict no drink driving policy in place you know..

With this week's races, usually we just have the 1 race where you are only allowed to pick the same car but I thought I would try and make this week as competitive as possible. Especially as Soopa only needs to turn up to win the league!

Not sure what that little Mazda is like though. Had a quick drive and it seems a bit tricky to drive if not setup right..

damn that last race, what a koch-up, last thing I did when I tried that car was to change the LSD settings & see what it'd be like with really low downforce, as I thought it would be blisteringly fast down the straight which it was, problem was it didn't like the corners at all and my lap times were about 5 seconds down. I went on to tune the renault 5 and forgot all about it... when I joined the track the car felt weird and I remembered I'd tweaked the LSD so changed that back but completely missed the downforce, the race started and it was too late by the time I realised what I'd done, ruined my perfect record for the night :ouch:

well done though to DM for winning, looks like you'd have given me a run for my money anyway, you set a really good qualifying time ;)

Great races last night. I was nearly 2 seconds quicker 1.19.5 in the qualifying for the first race than I had been for my 3 lap practice. So close to third in that race but Kingy done me on the line.

80's race - Soopa was so far ahead, my little Silvia K was getting the n**ts thrashed off it to try and catch him :dunce:

The third race I got stuck on the first lap, car was spinning up and refused to move, weird that the car was so different online from offline.

Loved the Fuji race, good to finally be involved in some close racing. You guys race really fairly which is great for us all. A few little taps here and there get the heart racing - GT by Citroen is a bad ass motor too, never really used it before.

Bring on the new season......More close qualifying and racing is anticipated :gtpflag:
 
oh yeah I forgot about qualifying, I got a 1:19.3 on my very last lap of qualifying and again Kingy was on pole and I think I was 3rd/4th... what's going on with qualifying...!? did you have it set to fastest first Kingy?

New league record 14/20 wins, gotta beat that next season :D
 
Yes soopa i will be coming for you next season , my goal yesterday was to just finish ahead of kingy every race and that would give me 2nd in the championship , next season i have to practice a bit more . 2 wins is not good enough to win a title .
 
yeah looks like it was a close finish for 2nd, just waiting to see the final table standings...

Congratulations to Soopa on winning his first title. Far too good this season and a very worthly winner. 👍

Although the last race must give us all hope for next season! Was magnificent seeing Soopa struggling at the back :lol:

Talking of the last race, was a bit gutted to finish 3rd in that race considering I was challenging for the race right until the end. DM mentioned contact and there was a bit from everyone I think. But, you want good competitive racing and contact is unavoidable when you have 3 cars so close to each other throughout. Am glad we do have all clean drivers taking part though. Long may it continue... 👍

With the qualifying I 100% had it set to fastest first. Really got sure what is going on as the same happened last week. I will do the first race for qualifying next week and if you can all have a look to make sure I have the right settings that would be appreciated.

Are you in your lobby at the moment Soopa? Want to set a bhp of about 350 for a race but want to find out whether the limit will be 356 or 357 etc in the online lobby. If you aren't then no worries..

Thanks for coming again tonight lads!

Soopa leads the way as usual but am disappointed I didn't beat him in last race. Was really close and on final lap he closed the door on me and left me nowhere to go. Completely fair move but I should of waited a couple more corners before going for the overtake. Felt I could have had him there!!

The ARTA Garaiya is a really nice car to drive though, I enjoyed that. Will have to have that type of race again in the future 👍


By the way, I got back from holiday yesterday and probably still hungover! I drove like it first 3 races! Apologies for contact made. Will look at replays at some stage..
 
That last race was a close thing Kingy, based on that GT300 performance you're gonna be all over me in GT500 this weekend ;)

Not as close as this though, I made a mistake at turn 3 while leading lap 3 and skendigi got through, DM almost caught me but I started closing the gap on the lead again...just took it at the flag



Oh yeah I'd like a rematch in the Clio's on another track, how about 1/2 laps round the Nordschleife? :)

Good close racing last night, me and Soopa bumped a fair bit in the first lap of race one. No intention of knocking him off line though, we should of both got round. :yuck: (Bit like the old days on midfield mate !!) Close race between me and Skengd, I was just slightly slower in the last 1/4 of each lap.

Laguna was good, but my S2000 made more noise but less speed !! :grumpy: Great on the corners though.

CR-V's where good, I just had mine geared for about 240mph lol :scared: Was close to getting Soopa but not enough to get a slipstream.

Loved the last race, my Celica needed a tweak to make it perfect, a little understeery !! Nice close race for us all though.

Looking forward to next weeks race. 👍
 
I'm sure it wasn't intentional but I was still 🤬 at you though, I thought those cars would be fun to drive and I really loved it, I was just a little disappointed I didn't win since I was so fast in it. I managed to catch Kingy about a lap after spinning out, overtook him and caught the 2 leaders at turn 1, but then Kingy misjudged braking into the turn and I think we got stuck together, as I was being pushed sideways all the way through the exit. :sick: Managed to catch the leaders by the end of the final lap but the slipstream wasn't enough to take any more places back at the line. :ouch: Therefore I demand a rematch ;)


btw, I am really liking the reduced slipstream, so much more realistic. Its nice to pull a lead through the turns and not just have everyone catch back up as soon as you get on a straight, game seems a lot smoother too and touch wood I haven't seen any tearing, looks like they finally started patching the issues that matter to us 👍 Just need to wait and see if they add saving enduros in the next release, then I can do the last 24Hr race and finally get my platinum trophy :D
 
Alright you can have ya rematch at Nordschleife if it will keep you happy!!

I'm gonna scrap qualification for 1st race. Is pretty pointless especially with the order being wrong each time.

Talking about starting the races, do you want me to ask everyone if ready as usual before we start or shall I set say a 10 minute gap between the start of each race which is done automatically?

I don't like to start the races without asking in case you are testing out setups and not entirely happy with the car.

Also, if you have any particular tracks you want or don't want each week, as well as choice of cars then let me know. Any requests are welcome..

Thanks mate, they were good fun to drive and should be a blast around the green hell

I don't see an issue with having an automatic start cycle, I don't usually get much time for race prep, but I at least get to choose my car and do a quick couple of laps and transmission tweaks before race day.

I think the races you come up with are always really good, I've used so many cars I probably never would have and found some good ones too (no not the prius :yuck:), keep up the good work mate and I'll try and pitch in a few ideas too :)
