good point, I forgot that it had the engine longitudinally. I wish that GT5 takes things like this in account if there's engine swaps.. otherwise we will get Viper V10's in FIAT 500R's..
Exactly! That would suck. Your racing in a Type R race online and you see other people civic with ZR1 or Lamborghini engine in it, I think that's a mess.
I don't know much about engines, but I would love to slap an R26B Wankel from the 787B into an RX7 or RX8. Of course, I'd weight reduce them, and if we have racing modifications, I'd do that. I just want to see what it feels like.

A waste of some perfectly good engines, if you ask me (which you didn't, obviously)!
Personally, I'm not sure what I'd make. If you could do engine swaps, I'd probably have about 30 or more AE86's and AW11's with different set ups; 20B AE86's, AW11's with the 20v 4A-GE from an AE111, a 4G36 plus VR-4 drivetrain in a Micra/March... I kind of hope engine swaps won't be in the game, simply because I quite enjoy having a life.
One thing that I would abosolutely love more than engine transplants is drive transplants. To me, the Lancia Fulvia is one of the best looking cars ever, but I hate the fact that its FWD.
Yeah great point 80Y 2C2! Drive changes would be soooo good! I would finally be able to make up that Mitsubishi FTO I have always wanted back since GT2!...Coem to think of it, maybe that will be in GT5 anyway? I can only hope.:tup:

I like specific mods, like turbos, and suspension, gearboxes, etc, but I gotta say I hope they don't have engine transplants... JMO. Don't worry, I'll be gone now, no need to flame me.

Its incredibly common in tuning circles and would be a welcome addition to GT if some of the more popular and well known conversions were available in the game.

^ Thats a good point... At least give us the well known swaps.. Noone leaves a ka24 in a 240sx and people but RB25/26 and 2JZ in everything. Things like that wouldn't take too much effort i wouldn't think, and would also stop unrealistic swaps like the ol LSX in the Geo Metro
