I would like to see an option, either global or by race, to select either standing start or rolling start (for everything but NASCAR), so everyone could have their favorite race starts.

How about bonus money or prizes or experience in A-spec and Seasonal events tied to the tuning of your car? I mean that if you choose to run something that is way over spec just to win the gold thingy and the helmet (paint, horn, etc) at the end, then you get the basic reward, but if you run something truly competitive, then the game throws in something extra. Now that I've written this down, it seems like an unworkable idea, but whatever... sorry if I have wasted your time.

The only thing I want, is an online laptime leaderboard, with the ability to filter the list so it only shows friends. It should also be possible to download their ghost cars so I can race against their best laptimes. I've pretty much stopped playing the game because I'm bored of it. But if they added this feature (that every racing game should have imo) then I would play it again every day. Would also be good if there was filter to only show unmodified cars.

I don't think they'll ever do this because people might put photos of naked women on their cars and that might mean the game would have to be reclassified with a higher age rating, or they'd have to moderate every new livery. The liverys would also have to be stored online, or transferred between all the PS3 before the race, and that would really slow everything down too much.

Well just click on the yellow question mark button in the suspension adjustment screen. It gives a decent rundown on what makes the car perform a certain way depending on what's being tweaked.

More detailed Mechanical damage. Like the tires can get punctures or burst, overheated engine. If you run out of fuel and then use the reserve you will then not be able to drive any further therefore putting you out of the race. Like what GTR2 has. Someone was saying once that they were doing a real time 24 hour race, and over half way through the race mechanical failures put them out. It would be cool for PD to add this.

Full race event creator - Choose the track, laps, time/weather etc. But then choose which specific cars will be used (1 of each). In A spec mode this would be a good way to see which cars are best. Online, I'd also want the option to fill out a grid with AI drivers so that online races have more than 3 or four people in them.

And not to make some ugly street tuning cars, but to replicate real sports/tuned/race models of cars. (ex; make a Ford GT40 -> Ford Gulf GT40, even though that car is already in the game). I'm sure a community can be very creative with just a few decals.

True enough. I was confused at horns being added when it was first announced way back when, so you can go screw around online with your friends? I'd bust out a toy car in Burnout Paradise to do that.

This sounds pretty cool... along with a way to filter through rooms better online.. like, say i wanna race my 600pp Scuderia in a street car only room. Enter street cars and put a pp range, and wha-la all the rooms in your region pop up. Wouldn't be that hard for PD to install and sure beats the lame filters they have so far.

Sorry but plzzzzzzzz don't add a livery editor.. NFS, TDU2 have gay little insignificant things like so, and see where its gotten those games(series's)... I'd much MUCH rather see MORE RM'able cars... Like seriously 17!?... C'mon the old gt's on PS1&2 had basically every car RM'able. Maybe add different styles of RM's, not just the 1 polyphony livery one.

I know you said "no cars or tracks" in the OP, Higher.. but this isn't technically more (different)cars, just being able to take my 458 italia and make it a GT1 car. Beats liverys.

A complete race modification system, something on the scale of what Forza offers, along with that livery editor.

Second to that would be a full blown race course creator, much like ModNation Racers offers, but on the scale of the Standard tracks in GT5.

And one more thing: a true Career Mode, something I intend to detail much more in the near future.
