Sorry Guys. S-Chassis Spam

Was in Southern California this week and attended the annual S-Chassis Meet. Just a small amount of pictures from the huge album I have from it lol

Don't get me wrong. His car is very beautiful and clean, I love it a lot, and maybe I don't know how judging works. However I am very surprised he won.

There were a few hatches that were a bit mind blowing. Especially the red one with the hot road.

Been wanting to get one of these old Imprezas really bad lately. I'm thinking 22B widebody and EG33 (SVX) swap. See what it would sound like with a proper all-motor build.

Knew of a guy in VA Beach with that exact formula. RHD conversion, to boot. He called it the 33B or something to that effect, and the thing was no joke. Last I heard he ditched plans for a supercharger and was going turbo, but that was a while ago and just hear-say.

Isn't it always E34 time?

As nice as the M540i is, definitely couldn't pass up an M5 with Throwing Stars.

According to that brochure picture, the ZZ is carbureted. Was that typical of the ZZ? IIRC they use SR20s, so I would imagine they would've just used the factory EFI. That's interesting.

Fun fact about Tommy Kaira - at least in the case of the third generation, the Tommy Kaira bumpers were actually a dealership fit option on the Legacy. We had a donor car with the front and rear kit not so long ago.

I’m pretty sure they’re just an option from TK. Motorcycle carbs are/were the poor man’s ITBs and they’re quite popular on some cars/engines.

Can anyone find good images of the Tommykaira Primera? I read last night that it exists, but I could not find high-quality pictures of it.

They made a Tommykaira S-Cargo? Damn, that company was adventurous.

And yeah, that was the same Primera image I found last night.
