GT-One Race car is not only said to be faster, it is! I've reached 1600 with that thing. But the fastest i've gotten was 2000 with the camaro race car and the 60x speed with gameshark. It's fun laping the whole crowd of cars within the first lap.

The Escudo seems way too hard to handle to get the wheelie going on the test track tho. I cant keep it straight. Any tips on stabilizing the crazy beast on the straight? Or just keep at it...

Uhh, try and line it up before you start the wheelie?

tell me how the hell you are supposed to keep the car stabilized with the front wheels in the air?

It's a glitch in the game. And it's realyl helpful when you're runing long races on test course. Once you wheelie up, it just keeps going straight till the turn. All you've got to do is hold down the accelerator. I've gotten 1019.4mph with the GT-One Race Car and a kind of an ok time of 1:10 lap on test course.

I have seen a car go 30 Times the speed of lght :) or sumthing like that, the screen was full of Numbers and they kept going up and up.

will get to a number pretty huge if you have a go, and if you are lucky, you'll break out of the track and the game will freeze, mine has

5572mph???
holy **** thats fast!
i can get 1995.9kph in my gt1
hang on lemme work that out in mph
*thinking..................."stuff it" uses a calculator...................* aha it should be 1247.4375mph

Yes Thats what happend except the game didn't stop so he had to take a picture and then reset the PS2.

Blahblahblah, maximum speed is 2 billion mph, blahblahblah, it's THREE times the speed of light, blahblahblah DO A SEARCH!

If you could e-mail me with a slightly less rough location than "Scotland", I'll add you on next weekend (when I get back to my own computer :D)

Hmm... SCOOBY-ROO, the world record holder on Midfield (and Grand Valley and Deep Forest) lives in Dundee...

I don't know how well he does with Arcade cars (the only ones you can use in iLinks) and multi-laps though. And his technique is weird beyond words - accelerator permanently mashed... !
