Incredible videos!!!!

All the tracks in the new vids are 6+ months old, and there's hopefully only 4-5 months to go, so they should look amazing when finished. :)
 
I can't wait to see those tracks on the latest build. The tracks already look great but ofcourse they are early builds. I would like to see more tracks :)
 
These vids and pics are amazing!!! :eek: :eek: I can't wait till all the replays are hosted because I don't have an X-port and I don't think a PAL one would work with my Japanese PS2 :( . Anyway.........I totally totally agree that these tracks will look far better when the game is finished.......these replay files are over six months old.....look at what PD have done since then! :D I particularly like the Las Vegas track and the Paris night rally. As for the Nursnow......I think it will look (when finshed) like the early pictures with the rally Evo looked like.

But I still have one question........WHY HAS PD PUT ALL THIS AMAZING STUFF ON THE PROLOGUE DISK!!!!!!........I recon that they have done it on perpose so that people would find new stuff on it all the time to keep the hype of GT4 constant so that people don't get bored before it is released.

Does X - port replay files (korean or chinese - zip file in your quote) work on a Pal PS2 (original, no chip) and X - port v2 Pal?

How can you race on Paris or Nur track? Is it anything similar to AR max code for HK and Grand CAnion cheat? Could you use them on a PS2 Pal (no mod, no chip) and original GT4P Pal?

I can't really say but I would suspect that they wouldn't work with a GTP PAL version becuse each region encripts the save game files in a different format. Thats why you cannot load, for example, a GT3 PAL savegame onto a GT3 NTSC J game disk.........Sorry but I don't think that it would work.......You will still be able to see the replays in MPEG or WMA files if someone can caputure and load em up...........would someone please do that!!!!!!!........ :bowdown: :bowdown:

Nice replays :)

Really shows how much 'AI' the GTs cpu drivers have, they literally do just follow rails. Although I did note one improvement, they attempted to brake before crashing into their cpu buddies :ouch:

Interesting to see how their revamping all the tracks & how far from completetion they were in most cases.
 
I'm going to be watching the replays again tonight when I get to my hotel room, still excited about the new tracks and environmental details that they have put into GT4. Packed my ps2 with me. However I don't have a usb tv tuner for my laptop so I can't capture any of the videos for you, only when I get back home this weekend then I will upload the replays of the new tracks.
 
K, BreakerOhio......we await your heavenly GTP replays :D . It would be really great for the people who don't own the Chinese verison (the PAL release people) to see the vids. Man GT4 is getting better and better :) ......at this rate we will have unlocked the whole of GT4 on the Prologue disk! :lol: :lol:. This is one demo that was really worth its price!

Wow, I must say the Paris at night track looks specially good. From what I can make of the last video, the Arc de Triomphe is looking very realistic. Yeah, I'm also tired of only racing one other car in rallies. Would be great to have 6 player snow rallying online!

Remember this is Prologue AI... which is bascially GT 3.5 in terms of the final AI for GT4... agreed it is horrendous, but hopefully the final version will be much improved.

^ ra ... the vids are just a replay of all AI cars... apparently you could only view them on a replay and not actually drive them.

For the fisrt question nobody can answer 'cause nobody has drive on those track, this is just manipulation on replay files, to change de track by using data of asiatic games. That's why the players car is always stop.


For the european game, there's only hong kong track, all the others have been erased from the game

I love the way the cars are bouncing off walls all around the Paris track, then go through a barrier and rejoin, like that's the way it's supposed to be. :)

Not to sound like a prick and ungrateful, but is there any chance of capturing the others, if you do any, with the TV camera so we can see the 3D environments properly? :)
 
Paristarmac reminds me a bit of rome night the way the corners are layed out. They've changed the chicane after the first turn of midfield, but that's the only difference I could see. Test Course is the super speedway bit's missing, with a bunch of clapping guys all standing next to eachother. Deepforest's layout is exactly the same, but the tarmac looks less like a race circuit and more like a worn out road, infact it looks more like the GT2 Deep forest, but that might be because there are still bit's missing. Also they must've been testing the heathaze effect because it's randomly scattered around the track in heavily concentrated bits. Lasvegas, initially I thought was a drag strip (Which would've been cool), but there is a slight turn and then it get's a bit odd and all the cars die sortof. SSR5 is ****ing awesome, seriously it looks so much cooler, there are completely different buildings around the main straigt and there are a whole load of semi built structures (scaffolding) around the track, new grandstands, simmilar to the sepang circuit ones are included and the stretch of track just before the hairpin seems to have changed slightly. NurSnow was effing massive, well not as massive as the ring, but pretty massive. At one point you could see the track at the bottom of the hill, but there is allot of glitched graphics, but it's still cool. Parisrally was short and reminded me of a PGR type track with lots of sharp corners and narrow streets, wasn't too impressed.

That's about it.
 
I look forward to seeing the other tracks eagerly, I have only seen shots of Vegas, nothing of Sears point (Infinia raceway) and a couple of others.
 
Man GT4 is goin to take ages to complete.And they might even reach the 100 track mark they were reaching for.
