Ummm, I know this is a really stupid question...but what Initial D game are you guys talking about? How would I go about getting a copy and playing it on my PS2?

We mainly talk about all initial D games: Arcade Version: Version 1, 2, & 3, and special stage for the PS2. :)
 
they also got that course with the lan evo team.....complete with the oil slicks that sent the FD crashing in the anime....

and there's also that course where the 86 trueno and the 86 levin battled on as well..

oh, this is version 3 I'm speaking about

yea, special stage has all the stages possible already...

all I know is that the dc2 isn't going to be super-car no more in version 3......I believe it's the AWD turn to have the top spot in the game...

I believe the oil slicks in version 3 not only poses a hazard for drivers, but i believe if encountered properly, could be used to create oversteer........hrmm. maybe the R32 or the R34 can start drifting now....LOL

Your link doesn't work by the way... but i have that document file.... Lots of people have been saying that... not just that document... so it's pretty obvious people are mad at Tokyopop for givin initial D to americanizing.
 
i hope the evo5/6 does good on akina snow.. i dont want no boring gc8v.. it handles good on SS but its so boring wif no exterior mods.. well its a sleeper i spose!
 
hey, question: what's the point of working on our cars now when the time version 3 comes around, all our cars will be stock again?

do the points we accumulate now add onto our car's performance AFTER the major mods? or does the car perform better right from stock?

yea, **** tokyopop...they totally murdered initial D
 
i play i have a sil80 at about 2.5 mil
and i have rainbow aura,but i dont have a digital camera:(
but i played this game even though i knew about Gran Turismo

Think it accumlates over to version 3.....or at least let's hope so.
 
on the ques from C-59, its better if we worked on it now because by the time we have all the major mods on the AWD(excluding the TypeR WrX) when we transfer we lose all the mods from previous ver. but then we play the amount of how many mods there are. we get them back( either option A,B,C,D) . so by the time u hit all the major mods you'll be pretty fast already.

Come on SlK308 help me out here:D
 
i have no clue b/c I dont' have any cars that is fully tuned...I just play around......tho I can still beat people with 1million+ points and battle levels 15 with my level 3, 200,000 point cars. =)

it's all about the driver. =)
 
yea the points will be transfered and each time u play ull get an upgrade but ull have to start from scratch. I reckon v3 will be the same as wen u transfered from v1->2. At the moment i will get my green for my dc2 then retire it, wait until v3 comes out, see whats good based on rankings then decide wat to get.. and wen its out it will just be battle.. no more TA..or LOTS.. that can come after the free game.. :)
