Don't ****ing believe it. Qualify pole, manage a 2-stopper, on my second stop I come out of the pits ~20 seconds ahead of GP in second and I ****ing disconnect.

****ing **** game, seriously WTF.

This has happened way too many times. Tempted to sell GT5 now, seriously can't believe it.

The wonders of a smartphone! Should have brought the ps3 into work I guess.

Well...as long as you make some of the races :(

Good race guys! It's a shame both me and Arkano got disconnected. :(
The end of the race was so intense, GP running out of fuel and Kyaw and Netherdragon were nose to tail and Netehrdragon took the lead on the final corner.

Can everyone post here when you had a good battle going on so I can try to get it in this weeks video? Should make the videos more interesting to watch. :)

Well, the first 6-8 laps with the top 5 all going at it together. Then after everyone else pitted, I was catching GP every lap until the pits where he didn't fuel and got out miles ahead of me, then I started catching you & GP at around lap 11-12 possibly and took you, then you span and I caught up to GP eventually, came out of the pits ~20 seconds ahead of GP and the pack behind him.

Netherdragon catching & taking Kyaw at the end of course & GP running out of fuel. Other than that, pretty quiet from where I was sat.

I got knocked off the track then, I think GP misjudged the braking point being in my slipstream. :(

Well you was behind GP and in front of me, I wasn't anywhere close enough to tap you, so I'm not sure lol :P

No I mean GP tapped me which pushed me of the track and then everyone else got passed me lol

Here is the replay guys:

Had a great fun race!

Nice racing from Netherdragon. You deserved that win. (2nd if Arkano counts his win) Unfortunately or rather fortunately for Netherdragon, my tyres were beyond the drop off point, i just couldn't put up a time. That and i slowed down a lot to get past GP who ran out of fuel.

It's only two extra laps, it shouldn't make too much difference. I apparently made a miscalculation with the laps beforehand.

Well depends on what the plan was.. I planned not to get lapped you see.. more laps the bigger the chance of that :)

well good race everyone, I had a almost accident with two yellow cars, I tried my best to avoid you and hit for the gravel :)

Thanks a lot to everyone for giving me 1st and Joey 5th, although I'm still sad I couldn't do my last stint :(

Before a race (offline) the left green icon means "start race" i usual use this menu very fast and whitout thinking, I use the menu's on "auto-pilot".

when i am online, i do the same. But the problem is, when i want to go to the track, i start the race by mistake. sorry for that. i am working on it :ouch:

Haha, it's no problem. We've had it happen a few times, even I've done it.

- I had a decent start, following everyone. I had a little duel whit Joey after he crawled back on track at the first lap. He got me pretty fast though.
- Still following everyone i made a mistake on Lap2, On that moment YingYang was behind me. we had a great battle for 2 or 3 laps.
- When it started to get dark i was nervous, i never had driven on Le Mans at night. Started to look more and more into my mirrors, it resulted in a crash. It ended the battle whit YingYang.
- After the crash i decided to pit(lap6), on fresh tyres i was be able to catch up YingYang. Again, a fight started, but made like usual a mistake.
- Pitstopping each 6 laps was a good strategy for me. I could close the gap whit yingyang (more or less) but each time when i got near him i made a mistake.
-i excepted last place. from there on i was really calm and confident. I started to know the car & track better. i actual raced pretty good and whitout mistakes halfway race. i did a good stint there. At the end of the race i gave up. losing my concentration and mood i made a mistake every lap. but nevertheless, i was happy about the race.

I am making progress. If i did't made to many mistakes, i could win from YingYang and maybe battle with andre. But my problem is i lose my concentration very easy, and thats when i make mistakes.

You just need to practice more by the sounds of it :)

What happend with ZZxxz?

What happend with ZZxxz?

He couldn't connect, kept disconnected all the time from PSN, which was a shame :(

We coulda had 12 people if Owen, Gprilli and Zzxxz could have made it.

I recommend everyone watches the replay, the first 6-8 laps are amazing.

I am thinking to buy a headset. Becaus i actual can't hear whats everyone is saying. Can't speak english though :nervous:

It's up to you! :)

I have a question about lapping a car and unlapping.

at some point in the race cars are lapping me. but i actual could unlap myself because i was on the better tyre. Am i allowed to battle race leaders when i am +1lap(even when i can't hold the pace). but usual, i stay behind "the leaders" because i was on the last place. I don't want to mess-up someone else's race for nothing.

Usually in most real life race series I think a lapped car is allowed to battle with the lapping cars as long as they have the pace and are only 1 lap down. I'm not 100% sure though.

I had a terrible start on this one as I have my left leg amputated so I cant hold the brakes while I'm using the throttle. So I use the handbrake instead :)

But fighting the top 6 of this pack was hard, and I couldn't really be competitive, but I had fun and I'm honored to be part of this.

This is correct. Although if you're trying to unlap yourself, drive very carefully around the 'leader' who just lapped you.

Good race till the room starting kicking people out.

I was crapping myself, the frame rate was going to about 15fps and graphics all shimmery, would be gutted if that had happened to me!

Its very unfair, and not good for a Championship.

We should race in whoever has the best internet speeds room.

I have Virgin fibre optic 20mb connection wired to PS3 through N router and hardly ever have problems in my rooms 💡

No I mean GP tapped me which pushed me of the track and then everyone else got passed me lol

:) check the replay, i would like to know who tapped me too at that point. That's why i knokked into you Joey. After 5-6 laps batteling into the front, i decided to back off a little, to save tires and waiting the front peoples to make a mistake. So i got back in front. I think lap 8, pitted with arkano just behind me. Forgot to put some extra fuel. So had to pit again at lap 16 with perfect tires just 1/4 off, too bad...

2 pits refueled wath the artificial intelligence of gt5 told me.... 56 liters.
Nahh the A.I. can't count i think :)
So ran out of fuel the last 500m with 30 secs in front :)

Too bad Arkano and Joey got disconnected! Was waiting for arkano to come out of the pits and batteling for the win.
I suggest giving Arkano & Joey the points they deserve?!Also ZZ, not getting into the room. Don't give up!

Congratz to everybody for not leaving the race and racing till the end!

Up to Laguna Seca

respect man! Practice little more with the handbrake to have the perfect start

We had a very great race, I'm still disappointed it was cut short, I was driving so well yesterday, I only made one tiny mistake (running into the gravel slightly at the end of the large straight).

I placed myself in first and Joey in fifth after you guys said it was ok for me to do so. Gotta start Laguna Seca practice today, I found the pefect set-up for Le Sarthe, gotta do the same for Laguna!

Oh btw GP, we had almost identical tyre wear in the replay :P

That's incredible! I couldn't imagine playing with only my right leg. May I ask why your left leg was amputated?

Posting the leaderboard for a new page!

Sure you can, actually.. you just did :)

It was a medical mistake when I got cancer back in 99. I got a blood clot in my left leg from the chemotherapy treatment.

I do have an artificial leg, but it's nothing to use on the pedals, it's one cool racing looking leg, made from black carbon fiber :)

It also have a shock absorber and a spring, and tend to over steer a bit
