Sure you can, actually.. you just did :)

It was a medical mistake when I got cancer back in 99. I got a blood clot in my left leg from the chemotherapy treatment.

I do have an artificial leg, but it's nothing to use on the pedals, it's one cool racing looking leg, made from black carbon fiber :)

It also have a shock absorber and a spring, and tend to over steer a bit

Haha! At least you kept your sense of humour!

I'm going to hop on and host a practice session for Laguna Seca in about ~30 minutes.

Hosting a practice room now!

1.19.456 is my quickest lap around Laguna Seca with the NSX!

Really happy & confident with my setup too, Now I've just gotta wait 5 days..

My hotlap was 1:21.something, but usually the time ended up at 1:22.something. have a few more settings I would like to try.

I had fun, even my fiance enjoyed the practice. She even said some words that get censored here when I ended up in the gravel after I went trough the corner way to fast.

I actually looking forward to the race on this track. When I started out.. yak that boring track, but after a few annoying laps I started to enjoy it

Same here :)

Most of my laps are in the 1.20's, so don't feel too bad :p

Also ZZ, not getting into the room. Don't give up!
I couldn't get to turn 3 after 4 attempts, it was ****ing me off plus my mate was round and I was basically ignoring him.

You've heard of the bionic woman, well meet the aerodynamic man

.

We should race in whoever has the best internet speeds room.

I have Virgin fibre optic 20mb connection wired to PS3 through N router and hardly ever have problems in my rooms 💡

But I guess playing in Norway is out of the question :)

Just managed a 1:19.805 with the Takata NSX. :) I'm averaging 1:20's on fresh tyres though and 1:22's after they've gone passed half way, I'm quite happy with my setup. Now maybe with more practice I can get my average times down a bit.

Edit: The video is uploading to youtube now, just 171 minutes left. :nervous:

 Now that's fast!

Upload here is dreadful, 768k for me, even the UK's fastest 50MB is only 1.5Mb!!!

Uk's fastest at the moments is now 100Mb :p

Edit: Not my day today, first I couldn't encode the video because for some unknown reason my windows registry got all messed up and no program could recognise the files even though I had all the codecs installed and it all worked fine yesterday, and now that I got that fixed and uploading to youtube the upload fails. :(

Re-uploading the video again now so it's going to take another 2 or so hours if it doesn't fail this time.

Bah, now you've given me a reason to go and revise.

In other news, I messed up the thread title and put Laguna Seca as race 23 instead of race 3! Woops. I've fixed it now though.

In regards to the actual race this weekend though, I'll be surprised if a GT-R or Nismo Z don't win. Seriously, I drove the GT-R around Laguna Seca for ~30 laps without making a single mistake, whilst still pumping in good times.

Here's the video, it's still processing at the moment but shouldn't take too long. :)

One of my favorite tracks laguna Seca, tested many kms, who resulted in a best time of 1:18:6. Perfect lap driving on the edge dough...
Perfect tire wear on the gtr.
I will focus on the win for this race, need the points :) after that brake problem on susuka and the run out of fuel on sarthre.

Sleep tight guys :)

I love it. You blow my time out of the water by almost a second and then tell me to sleep tight! :lol

Guess I've got some more practicing to do this week, I don't plan on giving up my Championship lead so easily ;)

I bet you're going for a 1-stopper too? haha!

I'll be happy to get a podium finish, Laguna Seca really is one of my poorer tracks.

:grumpy:Hmmm..guess what?......1.21.9!

I made a 1.20.9 lap.. wow... but it was in my lounge and Race Quality wasn't set to high, but to very high (I figured that since I definitely have the bandwidth for it) so my tyre temperature got way higher..

when I set Race Quality: High I was back to do 1:21.9 and most laps at 22-23

I need to get used to lower tyre temperature

I didn't think race quality affected tyre wear? O_o

Not tyre wear, but tyre temperature.. just try, set Race Quality: Very High

I bet you would have some interesting times on laguna then :P

At least here tyre goes light blue, but you can easily see its blue. Its about the same blue as the clock after about 4 laps
But at very high they almost goes white, more like the blue colour of the settings button's after about 2laps

I just figured it out myself, like you I was not aware of this

I am making laps of 1:23's i hope i can practise more at the end of the week. i really want 1:20's/1:21's. But more important i want do clean laps whitout mistakes. I am always get corkscrewed.:nervous:

I found that if you take the corkscrew exit wide and miss the apex it's easier to get the power down early without spinning. ;)

I keep tuning my car and I get happy.. then I join Arkano's lobby and it feels like a donkey.. Then I'm going mad and do some terrible mistakes :)

Get the car to work on key corners and settle in as a driver from there. You seemed pretty fast when you was on your line.

I've now sent GTP and/or PSN messages to everyone participating in this championship to make sure everyone turns up this weekend! :sly:

EDIT:

Pictures of Round 2 of the ICGTC at Le Sarthe!

I took a bunch of pictures from the race at Le Sarthe, I'll post a couple here, but I've linked the album because I don't want to clutter the thread.

PvGUph.jpg

The first corner, and everything is clean! Great driving by all.

CESKwh.jpg

We lose Joey a few laps in at the Indy section!

MUSK1h.jpg

Myself & GP-CiaN racing it out before our second round of pitstops.

yx0NCh.jpg

GP-CiaN has to pit early because he's almost out of fuel! I go for an extra lap.

3lbvLh.jpg

GP has run out of fuel at this point as Netherdragon takes Kyaw on the last lap, at the penultimate corner for provisional first!

Provisional first?!
"he thinks he's first but little does he know I'll take the points" (evil laugh)

hey Arkano, I'll be there tonight... just want to be sure that
Race Quality: High ? right?
Chat Quality: Low

and at 21:00 BST we will gather for qualify? or start the race?

sorry if I ask and thanks for your patience

Yeah that's correct. What I'll do this week is test having the race quality on very high, because I thought that it only had an affect on lag.

At 21:00 BST we'll start qualy, and at 21:30 BST we'll start the race.

I'm gunna try having my PS3 wired up to my router this evening, and I might get Netherdragon to host the room if possible.
