Nevermind the time I said, I just looked at the replay from last season and the times varied from 1:41's to 1:45's ;)
 
pweh, that I can compete with, if I get some slipstream :) And I know it was some corner cutting last season, that will be punished harder this season :)

I actually should make it to Monza technically but just in case my internet isn't back up on the 2nd, i'm ok with missing Monza.

Just to ask... I saw someone else that will use the Takata Dome NSX... so me and Joey975 will race together at the same race or we will be like one races one event, the other races the next?
 
You will race together. You will most likely be on the same team when team is announced, but that's only for the team championship points.

So you will be able to race every race on the calender :)

PS. You still need to add me to your PSN friend list (I haven't got a friend request yet) Races are held in my private lobby and to enter you will have to be on my friend list :)

Nip out to the shop and buy a TopUp Mobile broadband dongle quick.:dopey:
 
Would that even be ps3 compatible because we could be onto something here.
 
Plug it into a pc/laptop and share internet. plug a kat5 cable from your pc to the ps3 and it should work. You might need a crossed cable.
 
normally when trying to play off of a 3g connection it will give you nat 3 type on the ps3 so you can't actually race online.

trust me ive tried before, doesn't work too well.

+ you get disconnected quite a bit...

also who are you going with provider wise?

I got bt faster broadband at 28 meg in my new place and they installed within a week.
 
In that case there is no need to even try it.
 
I'd be lying too if i didn't think of them not putting the internet up in time.

I do have 3G Orange dongle but the speeds are too slow and the latency will be crappy beyond playability.

We are going with Sky because of the TV package and the costs are cheaper than pretty much any other options. It is 'truly unlimited' too as they have advertised and according to my friend who is a heavy downloader.

They said we should be able to have speeds of 8-10Mb/s, so that's not too bad for ADSL broadband. These flats are relatively new and modern looking but there is no fibre or cable 'support'. It would be nice if the flats had fibre and i can get 50mb Virgin service. ;D

I'll be able to update the leaderboards. I'll be on Steam at time to time after the race finishes.

Good Luck in the races everyone. Someone do me proud for Suzuka. Beat GP for the win. :D

Sky told us we would get over 6Mb but my PS3 tells me it's only 2.8 although the router is downstairs but I don't think the laptop is any better.

The ps3 isn't really reliable on what speed you have. I get a random number between 28mbit and 44mbit and I have 60 so it sounds about right :)

It even tell you it's not reliable :)

sorry guys but looks like im not going to be making the 1st race.

one of my mates 21st i for got about(i know... again).

However this is just before the mate in question is shipped to Afghanistan, so worse case scenario this could well be the last Birthday he has. Reeeaaaallllllllly hope to god it isn't but you guys understand why the is no way I can miss this.

I've come to the conclusion he's just making excuses for other things now :lol:

On the plus side, IMMORTALPILOT is going to be using the Yellowhat GT-R :)
