I don't see there being any issues with naming. It's not like it's the first time "GT" has been used as a video game title.

I know... I was just kinda playing off the article. It seems like the game is appealing to the sim market for iphone. It's gonna be interesting to see how it plays out

It was more in response to Lil_kaching.

I would check it out if I had a iPhone/Ipod Touch.

I have Real Racing on the iPhone 3GS.... That is a great sim-based game... I wonder how this one will stack up... In Real Racing the physics is the part that makes it so good... It also runs very smooth and has a nice cockpit view... I hope Gameloft have done the same... The 100 licensed cars is what makes it interesting here though.

I bought it! And it doesnt run very smooth IMO... Real racing is better if you want good physics and smooth gameplay... The only thing really cool about this game is the licensed content. Im still getting used to the physics, but with all aids off its really a challenge to drive properly... especially RWD cars....

It's probably just me but...the car on the right of the Ferrari looks like a GT by Citroen. :dunce:
Either that or a poorly designed Lamborghini Murcielago/Countach

which model of iPhone do you have? 3g or the 3gs?

edit: oh sorry, read your earlier post,

so it's laggy on the 3gs, then it's a no buy for me.

Yeah, its disappointingly laggy... "Real Racing" is still THE racing game for me on the iPhone... The only thing cool about this game imo, as I said before, is licensed content...

Haha, it's a Reventon, and i don't exactly know my cars >.< That car stands out a mile.

I agree with Blitz, this game is good, but Real Racing is much better. RR also runs smooth as silk on a 3G (without the S). 👍

Does this mean it won't run at all on the 2G's?
Nope, I'm just saying it doesn't require a 3GS to run properly, it runs great on a 3G. I think it should run just fine on a 2G or an iPod Touch (but I can't verify that).
