Anyone up for a race today??? Online has been pretty dead over the weekend unfortunately, but I wouldn't mind creating a race today 👍

Damn I was at work. :ouch:

Would it be great to find more enough GTP-members to settle up our own competition to find out 'iRacings GTP Champion'!?

Just came to my mind... no deeper ideas. I'm high. :dunce:

(...but anyway my suggestion to Official Vehicle is FalconV8, and race length something like 45minutes!)

I'm running 33rd in my division right now. With only one week counted I'm going to try for a top ten divisional place this season.

Just went back to the solcist as I don't have the tracks for this weeks skippy n late models. Took 1 sec off my previous best at lime rock first lap so can finally see some improvement in myself!

Definatly needs more focus on international road tracks, feel ripped off buying 10 different ovals too for the price they ask, so pretty much giving up on my oval license for a while!

It would be nice if we could all get together and do a race, if everyone's up for it. :)

Maybe 2 races.
Skippys at Laguna Seca/Lime Rock/Infineon for the road side
Rookie Legends at Bristol/SOBO/Charlotte Full Oval for the oval side (Depends on whether you want to run full throttle, brake, or do some bumpdrafting) ;)
Let me know what time works well.

I'm in too if your final schedule just luckily fits for my too less seat-time. :ouch:

Any tintop/road track is fine for me... Skippy too, but not those boring high downforce-rockets... please :nervous:

Im down with the skippys at laguna or infeneon or lime rock but I dont have the v8 supercars. I do have the mazda though but no license to drive it as i was demoted

06/11 Friday 8:20pm EDT Rookie Legends@ Bristol 50 Laps 40 minute practice
06/12 Saturday 7:30pm EDT Skippys @ Lime Rock 25 Laps 30 minute practice

Let me know if you feel there should be changes.

I preordered Mid-Ohio and The mustang. Mid ohio is supposed to be released next week, and the mustang the week after that. I hope the finish the transmission physics update for the next patch, so people have to shift realistically... i still use my clutch even though its not needed for upshifts.

Just bought iracing today, I can't wait to get home and try it out! does anybody have any noob tips?

Gonratulations!

All I can say now (cause I'm hurry to going to sportsbar right now... England vs Algeria!) is, chill out pal. Take your time to get familiar with the iRacings Sporting Code and services structure and such. After you think youre getting all that, choose Solstice and start practising in Open Practice -sessions. Dont even think about getting into race before you can easily do like twenty laps without troubles... and with others, even better. Every race counts, so take care about your stats, and respect others stats too. When you can move to Spec Racer, I highly recommend to do that. It's great car for epic races, and teaches you to drive 'right' way if you want to be fast in iRacing. (throttlebraking)

...and just to remind, dont even think about getting into race before you can easily do like twenty laps without troubles... and with others, even better.

Hope to see you there!
