Thanks guys and yeah i kinda turned all aids off haha... i thought i was doing pretty good in all my events but wow, some people are amazing. I just hate when people crash you and you get points taken :(

And is there a way to make my wheel correspond to the game wheel? It is calibrated and all but one turn with the real wheel is doubled in the game

Hello Guys, i am about to make a 3 month Subscription with iRacing as i'm new to it i need to know one thing first, when i pay with paypal there is a billing and shipping adress, will i get something at home like a iRacing CD-ROM? because i dont want that.

just sent you a PM.

no, dont worry about the shipping address etc, there is no CD ROM sent. its a download only.

So i should really purposely lose?

For the rookie series your aim is to get our of the rookie series. To get out, you need to have a safety rating of 4.0 (this is to fast track) and to do 4 races ot 4 time trails.

So the aim of your rookie series is not winning but to increase your SR to 4.0.

If you want the slow way, you can just increase it to 3.0 and wait until the rookie series ends (it ends every 4 weeks), by tomorrow it will be week 3.

So its not about losing or winning, your aim is to get 0 incident points.

This!

I had this problem with my DFGT. To get it right, check the settings in the Logitech profiler. Mine was set around 700ish so upped it to 900 degrees. Sorted that problem out.

Quit stealing all the referrals unless you plan to share! ;)

I thought the exact same thing when I read swift's post. What a referral hawk.

Referral hawk? I only ever got the one from crushed. I also spend a lot of time helping these guy with multiple PMs with their questions. I stayed up to 1am last night helping Niss out and I have work today. I think your emails are a bit out of line. The next time you spend a few hours helping someone out, staying up late and googling to find material , send that referral to me. Otherwise don't say those stuff about others. It's out of line. :)

I don't think he really meant to offend you that much haha

Ok i just got last in qualifying but with no points taken. At the end i got +0.01 points... whoopie. Someone else got +0.21 how did he do that?

C'mon guys your arguing over $10
$100 I could understand....but $10
Especially considering the money we have all spent so far....console's, wheels, pc's.....$10 is nothing

I wasn't argueing. Not sure why Nastra and Blaze were singling me out for trying to help other people. I don't see them staying up to 1am PMing them with answers :)

Your SR is calculated with results from your last 10 sessions.

I've never really looked into it much, just try and have clean, consistent races until your out of rookie. Then try and be competitive. When I jumped out of class D I averaged 0.2+ just by finishing with no incidents, lost some iRating but managed to get the required SR in 3/4 races.

Crushed, how many incidents did you have in that race/time trail?

When you finish a race/time trail or quali, it will come up with results. Have a look at the number underneath "Inc". Keep this number as low as possible or at 0.

No, iRacing bases your SR off of a ratio of Corners-Per-Incident. It keeps track of your x most recent corners (I read its like 1125 or something for Rookies) and calculates from that. The numbers have never been officially stated (and won't be).

I had a totally clean race, i tell ya, its really hard not to be competitive!

Im liking the new mazda location, Lime Rock! The only thing is that high speeds equals fun, competitive, and losing control!

**********************************************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so i go as slow as I can go, everything is fine, i look at the stupid bottom left to see how slow my laps were and BAM off the track and into a wall! Maybe i should turn that off im so dumb! Then when i get back my wheel is broken so i go to the far left of a straightaway going slow and bam someone hits me and i get 4 points **********

Crushed. some tips

1. Always keep your bottom left screen on F3. Ignore lap times for now etc.

2. Only have a look at the screen on the straights. Resist the temptation.

As your in the rookie series and as we many of us said before, ignore your lap times or winning. just finish a race with 0 incidents, if you do this enough you will be in D Class.

just signed back in after a year+ hiatus. So much fun! a lot tougher than GT5, but so much more rewarding.

I have been racing the SRF and having a lot of fun with it. I haven't bothered trying to understand how tuning works on iRacing yet... But a gentleman named Chris Hughson, with 6000+ iRating was nice enough to share his tune when we were in the same race room...

My problem is, that I can't seem to find the tune anywhere now. When he shared it with me, was I supposed to save it somewhere? I left that room, went into a practice room, and the tune was not in the shared folder anymore.

Please help,

Yeah i know i was just curious haha. Curiosity killed the cat

Ain't nothing wrong with asking newbies to refer ya otherwise that little bonus will get wasted. We gotta work together to squeeze iRacing for all their codes we can get out of them. If a newbie from GTP signs up to iRacing and no one asks them for a referral I would consider that a huge fail yo and a tragedy lol

I got some nice content from referral codes! Still sitting on one atm. Bout to use it to purchase a track and add my money to 'stack' so I can get a 10-20% bonus. Just a few road tracks left. I would probably have them all but Grand Am Rolex and Skippy screwed me hard so I have some Ovals. Got too many ovals: Indy, New Hampshire, Daytona, Phoenix, and Iowa.... I do love Daytona and Indy mind ya~

Thanks guys for those Legends tips! I felt like a pro with the old tire model. With this NTM on the Oval cars I have no idea what to do. I'm just butt slow

What series are you runing? Keep in mind that the Mazda Cup is a Fixed setup series meaning that you can't change setup so you won't see it till you run a different series.
