Tried another race with the SRF at Spa last night, it was the last race of the week at this track. I had even more fun than in the first one, plus no one hit my car this time, and I even got first place. :D

I really liked this combo, you battle with other drivers until the last corner because of all the draft. Some three-wide going into Les Combes and Bus Stop and all. I highly recommend it for a fun hosted session with friends.

Okay, so I've had this problem since Christmas but it hasn't bothered me too much because I use my ipad for internet surfing. but I think its time I ask for help. so can you please look at my screenshot and tell me how to fix this problem, basically it says what its say down the in the first image but it connects to the internet. but it keeps saying waiting for..... iracing.. or when I go for internet shopping..... amazon any way to fix this issue?
EDIT:fixed the first issues but every web page still says waiting for and it's annoying :( anyway to fix this?

Jav do you still run the Vette? Tomorrow i plan on doing some okayama races once i get some more practice in. I so rarely get races in these days, i feel like my subscription is being wasted lol.

Man I wish! Today is my day off and I still need to go in for an appointment with a customer...

Well, now that my PS3 has hit the coffin and got the YLOD and ate FIFA 13 with it. Guess iRacing will be the only gaming that I have now. So, guess I'm going to become an iRacing nut lol.

Look after the car, keep it away from walls are away form other cars, start from the pits if you have to.

This week is ideal for gaining SR in the Street Stocks, Charlotte Speedway is wide and open and easy to back out of if it gets loose. Just run it from the pits and keep it tidy. This track is where I did it.

Street Stocks at Charlotte are like any of top 3 cars at Dega/Daytona, it's pretty much drafting with very little effort to get best line or learn how to drive on ovals. Everyone tends to have their style and some tracks suit people better, Charlotte is an easy track to learn on though as most cars all use same points to hit. One thing I tend to do that I don't think most do is I roll out of the throttle alot on entry vs just using less gas, it turns better then I can drive harder off after it rotates to keep the front in from pushing through the corner which will burn off the right front over a longer run. It probably isn't the fastest by any means but tends to work well for me and allows stronger runs without very little fall off. The B class is even worse for needing to be off the gas for it to turn correctly.

It's no GT3 Cup but it'll have to do.. it does look great though.

Man my only hope for that car is that they put it on slicks and throw a huge restrictor at it to get it down to 500-550 HP!

I agree, to me I think we should have had a power limiter instead of a weight penalty option in hosted races
Wait! for some reason I thought they said once that we'd get two different power level versions, but that could just be my crazy mind, I don't remember .... may have been just a rumor.

Cant wait for the RUF going to be a blast to drive when ever it comes out. I heard around the 24th of may is this true?

I think it will be longer than that. S3 maybe. Lotus 49 will be before that I think.

Hopefully the ruf has a power distributor. Move the power rearward for some sideways fun :P

Course it is. The sound update featured it in the video and it is coming this season. Schedule is ready for it and everything. #KeepHoping

We are getting the RWD and AWD versions of the car, AWD for official racing and RWD for hot lapping.

I read that the Lotus 49 is coming before the RUF on the forums in the Upcoming content thread.

That sucks, it should be a matter of preference like the Mazda Cup and Mazda Roadster. I don't know why but I hate 4WD race cars, in my opinion it is the little slip angles that you get when cornering with about 10 other cars that make racing interesting, not feeling like the car is on rails all the time.

Depends what class it gets put it too though. Lots of rookies trying to race an 800bhp RWD street car will only end badly.

Could work. Are the real Porsche Supercup cars RWD?

Yes, though they don't have 730bhp, they have 450bhp (used to be 420bhp) which is a fair bit more manageable!
I was interested until people said its going to only be the AWD version for racing. Could the RWD version be used for private races?

I would think so. Especially as tech tracks will be i see no reason why not.

Lets hope for some setup option to adjust the power distribution.

So I have a random question I want opinions on that just happened in a race but before I start I want to say this. Blinking sometimes happens to even the best connections during caution or a race.

There was a guy in the last race who was blinking alot during the cautions when he was behind me, then I said something to him about it. Most just say thanks for letting me know or something, but he got attitude about it and was like my town is so small that we can't get great internet and something about wifi (remember he is in and out so hard to hear him completely). It did clear up for a lap or two but by the time he caught me he was all over the track with connection issues so I said something again about it, then he acts like because he has green bars that it's fine but he was throwing smoke, and flipping deals on mine. I said maybe you need to get that fixed or not race, and once again I get the I paid for the service just like you, I am entitled to race too and my connection isn't really an issue. Pretty much shut up after that because it was a lost cause.

Why do people like that take the crappy attitude and wonder why their ratings are so low sometimes? I know when I do blink during a race even for a second it will throw things off for me, so back and forth I have no idea how he was doing it.

Aha! That's what it was, thanks

Lets face it, The 49 is never coming.

 it may be coming but I'll have to drop out of iRacing for at least a few months in about a month I'm kinda bummed out about that but oh well.

Just ran a Grand Am race with a whole bunch of derps. First the Grand Am's went all the way until turn one before getting onto the throttle, which caused tons of chaos in the McLarens. Then, I got side swiped while already in the middle of a corner by a DP. That same DP spins out right in front of me giving me some more damage in the same lap. He then catches up and runs half of the race nearly rear ending me in every corner. Finally got rear ended by a different driver who claimed I braked early when he should have noticed that EVERY lap he was braking later than me into that corner.

So frustrating despite getting 2nd position in class. Arguably should have won had I not had my race ruined and car ruined.

It seems like lately there been fair number of knuckleheads in races. I had one guy who showed no patience, forcing 3 wide or things like that.

I find the blinking and warping from pilots on a poor connection very distracting.

yeah, I have heard on voicecomm similar experiences with blinkers pulling an attitude. Once they hear the concern there is not much you can do except stay away from the car if possible.
