I find the blinking and warping from pilots on a poor connection very distracting.

yeah, I have heard on voicecomm similar experiences with blinkers pulling an attitude. Once they hear the concern there is not much you can do except stay away from the car if possible.

I tried til we got bunched up and I just slowed to let him pass. I wasn't risking it considering he ended up sliding up into someone not long after.

I set my self a target, get promoted to C licence in Oval buy Tuesday I think it may be possible only 0.64 away from C licence :D

Good going dude. C class trucks at Charlotte have been a blast this week. Hopefully you make it in time for a few races on it.

Yeah I joined you early as a ghost surprisingly I could keep up, but dam them trucks are a blast

Hehe. Raced for SR today :p Not something I normally do but I was really close to A class and the A series is running Rockingham this week which I love and Charlotte next week which I love.

And as of now, from my last race of the night. I am now Class A oval! :)

I'm done with iRacing for a couple months.

The movers picked up all my stuff today for my move from Japan back home to Seattle. Estimated time is 45-60 days.

I'm hoping that by the time I get back up and running that the L49 and the RUF will both be available.

Have fun racing everyone!

Gutted and happy at the same time gutted I wont be getting promoted to CLicence in oval and happy that I got tickets to new fast and furious tonight :)

I like the sound of that, even though iRacing sees it as another excuse to get more money out of us . Seriously though, it's a good idea.

It's the new version of the post L49 dilemma "pre-order" :sly: seriously though I agree

But they get money yes. But we get it back in credits when the track is finished to put towards the new track.

These "Tech Tracks" will serve the pourpose on which iRacing was built, a tool to help learn the tracks and correct lines without having to ever visit the actual track.
So yeah, bring it!

Just got my first win in the Trucks. Very happy indeed. :)

Got mine in the very first race at Darlington last week.

Got completely outclassed in Mazda cup today. The only reason I didn't end up last was because of other drivers messing up. Finished 10th.

I really need to get quicker.

First A class oval race just now, fixed series. Nice little warm-up for the SoF race tomorrow night. Came 3rd which was nice and my ASDA Chevy (painted by CSDesigns) got it's first run out :sly:

Rockingham is so much fun but incredibly difficult on restarts I find.

Having a really frustrating week in iRacing. You win some you lose some. Only ran 3 races and have lost 1.4 SR and 100 iR. Taking a break until next week to calm my mind lol.

Although it should be said that being T-Boned twice, rear ended 3 times, and side swiped a few times is not fun either.

Is it the GT-Challenge? I did two races on Okayama and crashed out both times. The last try it was before the start finish line, so on lap 0. It started the second it was green. I have a love hate relationship to that track now. I love it, but I hate that it's the rookie track so it brings every idiot to the track. And it was top split both of them.

I just have to quote someone.

When the green flag drops so does a lot of peoples IQ!!

Lucky me the first race counted toward my iCredit.. Just want to stop racing and call it a bad service, but it's what makes it interesting I guess. But a calm down period is needed for me as well.

So good luck next week!

Hehe I just went from 23rd to 2nd in the Top Split Oval IndyCar Oval race. The race itself only had 1 caution so the overtakes were during the long green periods.

Now I have some Canadian guy whining at me telling me that I shouldn't have overtook him because he fell down to 7th position. I mean come on, do people not understand what racing is? Do they just think we should all drive around nose to tail all race long.

Unlucky Erik, there seems to be some real dumbasses around the service lately. I was in a Grand Prix Session with Atze Kerkhof yesterday and people just kept trying to race him and slow him down, before eventually causing a massive crash.

If only the Safety Rating System worked in Practice sessions aswell.

Speaking of, I've recently gone to - and walked on - Mosport, taking pictures with my cell phone along the way. Does anyone want to see the photos? Comparisons of iRacing vs. real life? (I know, Mosport is now the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, with lots of new buildings, and paved areas/bridges, but...)

Edit: Actually, I'm going to do this. The track, now that I've seen the bumps, feels perfect. The KIA really doesn't like T4/T5, but if I could just remember that the inside curbing is not at all flat, I could run a 1:26. Problem is, that lap time doesn't add up, at all, because the KIA is not fast enough to obliterate some track records...

Edit #2: http://www.flickr.com/photos/northern_smile/ ----> Mosport photos are here!
