EDIT: Forgot to calibrate the pedals because you know losing internet uncalibrates them haha. So my brake was really wonky and some guy ended up rear ending me

I've found that if you just make sure to push the pedal all the way down once while you're sitting on the grid or in the pits it should work fine. Every once in a while I forget and then it brakes at 100% just for barely touching the pedal, until I can get a chance to push it all the way down.

No just paddles but use the clutch on my pedals for upshifts and getting off the line.
For downshifts it´s just throttle blips and downshift.

Waiting to see what Fanatec and Thrustmaster has in store for me

Question to the G25/27 users, can you adjust the wheel rotation degrees? If so can you do it on GT5? I know for PC you just use the wheel profiler and you're good, but is there a way to adjust for GT5?
I run 600 degrees for GT5, 400 for Rfactor and the full 900 for iRacing.

T500 doesn't even have rotation angle adjustment in GT5. Was disappointed by that.

Does seems it models a cars gear box though. Say an 70 Chevelle compared to F1. The f1 takes 180 in hairpins. The Chevelle almost 360. IIRC

got a local buddy that has started sim racing on gt5. Still getting his wings so to speak. He raced real life dirt. He is clean just not fast yet. He and I are talking about building pc's side by side and starting at the same time.

Hmmm surely I can drum up some items to sell and finance a PC. Be looking tonight. Hahaha

not much, like 20 min and it feels weird... and still too soon to have a good opinion, but it's supposed to be stronger than the MX5. My first impression was, well I was expecting more power... It's a diesel car, and sound like a diesel on the idle but it's hard to consider the TDI a great racing car by it sounds and comes with the paddles by default

I think it has less horsepower but more torque. And it´s only available with a DSG or Double Clutch Transmission.

NTM = New tire model. The thing we've been waiting for for TWO YEARS is out right now! I'm expecting a whole new iRacing when I pop on track in a minute, can't wait!

Also btw, you need to have the Impala Class B purchased. If you already have the '09 NW car then you'll automatically get the COT version which runs the new tire model!

Hmm... well. It's amazing how much more you can read from your tires now. You can tell a lot more of what's going on. The feedback's just amazing. The NTM's just as good as netKar at this stage even for me, but I'm still gonna hold judgement until I get my hands on a true road course car with the NTM.

I wouldn't suggest buying the Imp just for the NTM if you're broke, but if you've got an extra 10 bucks lying around than I think trying out the NTM at Spa is more entertaining than anything else you could spend ten bucks on... like that horrible Green Lantern mess

i think my t500 settings are wrong but man its like night and day!

no more drifting! you wont get anywhere anyway.

now you can really feel the car just planted on the road.
low speed grip is also much better!

Havn't tried it yet but I will do tomorrow. Not very good at drving the old NASCAR's unfortunatly so I dont know how well I will get on with it.

there are correct settings in the iracing forum from tye guy who handles the ffb.
Drift mode i think just creates it's own ffb effects.
