please help a noob to this game out......... what is this "tire upgrade" people are talking about and can you tune your car (suspension, etc) and where is it?
Sounds good can't wait for it to hit the RR cars! What's the release date for the Ford and ARX?It´s acutally less nervous then the previous car.
Low speed grip feels ten fold. Acceleration feels way more planted.
Not that nervous feeling that you don´t really know if the rear will stick out once you shift to third etc.
NO MORE DRIFTO COMPETITION SUCKERS
that was for all the alien drifters lol.
smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth is the key to speed here.
I´ve only driven it at a road course (Infineon Raceway) and it felt astonishing. Have to get some new settings for the wheel though.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on this. I've just done 27 laps of open practice at Okayama and man am I slow! I was one of the slowest guys there, and I can't figure out how to drop more time. This is sooo much more realistic than any other sim I've played, it's like starting over
If anyone wants to add me, my name is Alexander Higgins.
Having a ton of fun so far!

I more and more regret I bought a PS3 instead of a decent PC and an iRacing subscribtion.
This sim looks so awesome, and it obviously just keeps getting better.

Stupid question, but how do you save or view replays?
I'm having a blast, but I wanna study my lines once I'm calm enough to really analyse them after a runI get so concentrated driving, I can't go back into observer mode right away!
The graphics are fine on low, I experimented with it for a while the other day.
I run an older pc, maybe 3 or 4 years old with parts that might have been 1 or 2 years old by then so I can't run everything on high effectively. I can run it on highest but the fps drops to 50 with 1/2 second lockups just randomly and that's not what you want in a full pack. It will fluxuate, getting 60 or 70 fps with less cars.
While that sounds like a smooth number, the higher settings make the loading times 3-4 mins instead of 1-2, so I run mostly minimal graphics to get 120 fps with less lockups, less screen tear etc. It think the game runs 720p resolution instead of the monitors and computers natural resolution of 1080p.
Kind of a random post but I'm just saying the game runs well on an older pc with the right settings. I can post specs later if you want.
sandboxgodHey hampus, do you where i was supposed to grab the FFB settings from iRacing site? I responded to your query in other thread but u could just post here instead 👍
Too bad us rookies cant demo the new tire model??
I guess they want me to keep focus on mastering this Mazda MX-5
