Replay won't load on PS3 internet browser. Anyone wanna tell me, with words, what happened? If I get a job, College Tuition, iRacing, better computer, and a G27 are on my wishlists, for stuff I'm going to pay for.

So, you want everything that matters? LOL!

But this is the first weekend of me balancing GT5 and iracing... Sheesh, I really need my parents to move my computer out of the basement.. Dad came home today and had to do a bunch of work, so I couldn't do iracing, but I had moved my wheel up to my ps3- currently in the dining room... (Don't ask, I had connection issues, but it was just a bad modem.. And I don't want to move it back up to my room, because then I'd have to move the g27 up 2 flights of stairs.)

I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. With school beginning soon (Tuesday) and my schedule being messed up (instead of accounting 2, I got "3d game design" (-.-) goodness)

Does anyone here do the indycar oval fixed series? I think that would be pretty fun.

I wont be able to join the next race as its 5am where I live and iv got lots to do tomorrow :-P Formula renault, F3 and DTM at Zandvoort and real life ice hockey game :-P
Might have time for at truck race and a GTLM race. Might even be able to join a grand touring race :-P

The Oval stuff is crazy. Now I know why people struggle to get licenses up. You spend 90% of the races in Caution.

Anybody know why caution periods are a disgusting 4 laps and at a disgustingly slow pace? Lets get the SLS in there and do some half way decent paced caution laps iRacing.

Because they model it to the very last detail! I never really got the point of yellows in simracing...

I am gonna buy the skippy and whatever yaks I need for the series soon, what other car/track should I also get?

Actually I'm glad they have them at times because it allows me to catch up or try something if need be. The only issue I have is cautions sometimes don't come out after a truck or two spins.

its for a few different reasons, i think they fallow the real speed of the real pace cars per track. why do they do this and not speed it up. because their is strategy when you need to get your car fixed. its gives those people time to rush and get it all fixed. when you have a perfect car cautions feel very long, when your car is broken they are never long enough! and the reason why they are 4 laps long is because the lap is for leaders to pit, second lap is for lapped down to pit, and then 2 pace laps to get ready. its a long process. but i like it.

yea thanks but mann ssome stupid unnecessary accidents wich some rookies ran into me i had 2 bad accidents wich made me pit and get -1L think my irating is 1297 pff... soo frustrating.. 👎

yeah we know :) my first races i had like 30INC per race

Anyway things go more clean now. previous week i did like 5 races on daytona (90minutes each race) alot of battle there and everybody was so clean. and now even in the mazda cup things go better. :)

whats frustrating is working hard to get your irating up, then have 3 races end on the first lap due to a crash. its gonna take me a solid week of perfect to get this back up.

The caution laps are based off the real thing. They are long but during cautions I find a great way to come up with a strategy.

Lap 1-Lead lap cars pit
Lap 2-Lapped cars pit
Lap 3- Get the cars sorted out in their correct positions
Lap 4-Get ready to go green

That's why it's called rookie, some belong there and others just have to go through it. After your done stay away and let the next guys having to go through rookie be the guy they crash.

But yeah it means you have to buy some tracks and maybe even some cars. As everyone else heard I would have gone to the Grand Touring Cup just to advance into C-Class where the fun begins.

Now you have to buy a track to compete in Grand Touring Cup, but you can use the same car, and you only need 4 clean races and you advance.

And racing in Rookies wont bring your iRating much up, then you have to race all night. And your MPR will stay at the same forever.

Move on and I soon see you in the Grand Am ;) 👍

As I have you as my friend on iracing.com I see you still race on Okayama with the rookies ;)

Anyway gratz on your D-Class licence and good luck with the racing. See you soon on track I guess ;)

it is. i've now learned why everyone doesn't race at Bristol. its just not worth it. i found that also the only safe place in an irl race is to be the leader.

Pingwhen, do you think its safe to race at Bristol if you start from the pits? Im not sure if I wanna take my chances :P

Im watching last nights nationwide race. And MAN! Its wors than iRacing! They are running more under yellow than green xD

Bristol pit starting is not worth it. By the time you come out, the pack is upon you. Or the first crash happens and you're in it. I recommend pacing slow and let the clowns behind you pass.

I advise to just run the same line every single lap. Be obvious and just let people by. And don't pass unless you trust the person in front of you. It's better to be smooth in the long run. If a long run happens they are normally 20-50 laps. It will be worth the true saving

Just in a nVidia cup race and some guy got 37 incident points...... :O
In my next race theres someone with 0.46SR :scared:

If I refer a friend to Iracing and they put in my email when they sign up in the referral box, I should receive some Iracing credits correct?

You will get a mail, with a promotion code and you can just follow the instruction in the mail ;)

How about private practice hosted sessions? I can do that right? My friend wants to learn the ropes before he starts racing. Does it count towards safety rating?
