There's a thread on these. You can also get nice deals on stuff for good prices. Have a look in the section and you will find it easy.

Thanks. Unfortunately, my financial institution (I'm a share holder at the age of 18) won't allow me to figure out online banking, so, I'll have to sort it out some other way. But, I've got 17 days 'til Hallowe'en (and, therefore, until the rebate disappears.)

Then, if that's the case, time to troll about on rFactor's 1 hour trial.

You have the cuss pack to? I just got it, only going to use it on ovals, funny stuff. Both street stock races I've run tonight I was caught up in some stupid wreck... top 5 both times.

Yeah i use it all the time, much better than the default spotter in the game. I wish there were more spotter packs out there, but this one is great.

The cuss pack is cool indeed, but I don't like that the team can't decide how many laps I have left of my fuel.. When I qualify on the same track, same amount of fuel the spotter say.. everything to pit within 5 laps to pit within 3 laps. And instead of 2-3 laps left on the fuel they want me to pit now.. if the race have 1-2 more laps I'm not going to pit!!! I guess it's a excuse to cuss back at my spotter :P

I've finally figured out how to run modest laps @ LRP without getting regular incidents! Much more enjoyable now :)

Next job to turn in later and stop mounting the curb at every opportunity.

Charlotte does not like me. Class B is fun there but I either got caught up in something or wrecked myself pushing too hard. On top of all that, my wheel wasn't acting right and now no one can hear me but it still plays back/transmit, so I'm wondering what the issue is. They are Turtle Beach X11 I think.

I have a good feeling.

I just got iRacing, joined a rookie room, and I'm two tenths faster than anyone else on track. So far, I'm glad that I got iRacing.

Also, are these guys idiots? I just saw a guy who went full speed into the pit lane wall. What?

Please help!

Well, I'm not dealing with that again. :grumpy: Last lap = leaders smash into the people who are down a lap?

:guilty: I passed someone, under caution, thinking that they were down a lap, since they were stopped. Next thing, my rear bumper was smashed in, by someone who clearly saw me, and steered towards me.

Someone really needs to recommend a league to me, because I'm not going anywhere like this. Lunatics!

Have you checked your club news forum for a club league, other than the two here, club leagues are all I'm a part of and they actually make great leagues since everyone is in the same area

I'm wondering what is going on with iracing for me and it's probably something simple.

It's like I'm a new user and won't remember button settings or wheel settings, then my mic doesn't work but the headphones do. It's annoying as heck.

Hang on, "Club?" Meaning league? Or...?

No, club meaning the club you are in based on your location in the world, on your profile just above your picture it should say, Northwest, or BeNeLux, or Brazil, or midwest, etc depending on your location.

If you go to the iracing forum and find the topic 'club news' or 'general discussion' you may or may not find a league pertaining to your club

^Yay, Eastern Canada; inactive since 2011. :yuck:

Anyways, the physics really are great. :dopey: I just need to get something FF, and then I'll be fast. This is the result of my enjoyment of having full control over the car, "point-and-squirt" style. :sly: FFs do that well.

The MX-5s are a bit difficult, because I don't feel ready to throw them up to full speed. But, the last corner at Lime Rock, is it flat out?

Please help!

Stick at it, get yourself up to D class - even if you don't race so hard to keep out of peoples way - and then you'll find the vast majority of the wreckers disappear.

I lift a bit for the last turn, but my fastest lap is just a 1:01.... So I may not be the best help xD

I'm currently working my way up to Class C oval license. I only have the basic content for oval so my original strategy was to get my SR up to 4.0 and do four IndyCar oval fixed races to get the MPR. But in the meantime they've created a Street Stock C series which made things easier for me as I don't own any of the tracks on the IndyCar calendar.

So this weekend I managed to get my SR up to 4.40, now I only need 4 races in the Street Stock C series. A friend told me to do four time trials because it's safer but oval time trials are just way too boring, specially with the SS at Charlotte.

Races are more exciting and the last few I did were all clean. I used to think it was best to start at the back of the pack to try to avoid incidents but starting in front is way safer IMO. I actually did 5 oval races in a row in Charlotte with 0 incidents. Started in second or third every time, won twice and got second on the others.

My iRating is up to 22xx now which helps to get a safer grid too I guess.

By the way, do any of you have a good Street Stock setup for Charlotte? I think I'll just use the fixed one, don't know if a different setup makes such a difference at this track since it's always foot down on the gas but I'd appreciate any input on this. I'll try some races this afternoon.

I'm trying to get my SR above 3.0 at both since I have all MPR done. Bought the SS the week they were at USA international for MPR purposes.

On 2.9x on road and 2.5x on oval. Both D class. I think my signature is a bit out of date though.

Street Stocks are a fixed series...and Charlotte is pretty much the Daytona for those cars.

Once you get to higher classes it actually is easier to move up classes. I went from a C to A in 2 days during Dega week in trucks. You will race more than just 4 I bet.

The Street Stock C series is open setup. And I do indeed plan to race more than just the MPR, need to get some oval content first though. The Silverado series seems fun.

Could anybody explain what happens on the promotion day? I know you have to pass the requirements but do you have to do a certain race or does it just automatically promote those that have achieved the requirements?

Cheers

On the iracing main page in the upper right hand corner where your driver helmet is just move your mouse over where it says MPR. It will show you if you're ready for promotion or what requirements you still need.
