Certainly am, thought its taking a beating at the iRacing forums, huge numbers don't want it.

They will come around eventually. Consider it "car racism" LOL, even the most vocal haters will come around eventually if the series provides good racing.

The Kia and FWD hate is funny. As long as it's fun to drive, I don't care which wheels drive the car. I've owned and raced everything from FR, MR, FF, to AWD and each one properly setup can be lots of fun.

Besides, with a 30% discount it's only going to cost $8.36. Subtract that from the $10 in participation credits I earned and I've still got $1.64 leftover and a free Kia to race. :)

I certainly won't be buying the KIA. It's like the Cadillac to me. If It's free, I probably won't drive it very much. If it costs money, I have no interest. Either way, Useless car IMO.

iRacing NEED a proper middle class Formula. Star Mazda does not cut it since over in Europe, that is considered a low class Formula. You go straight from Star Mazda to Indy or F1. That's a HUGE step as the Star Mazda handles like a boat. I've been saying this for over a year now but, anything is fine, F3, GP3, GP2, Auto GP, World Series, ECT.

They already have a Dallara car on the sim, why can't they get another one. I really don't understand.

I think the Kia caters perfectly for Europeans, FWD touring style racer. People are just sour because its out before the Lotus 49 and RUF. Neither of which I care about funnily enough.

I don't care about all 3. I'm only looking forward to the HSV and the BMW (Have they decided which car yet?)

If I remember correctly the Z4 GT3 will be first, M3 GT2 second, and the BTCC BMW last.

I'd like to see the M3 GT2 first, but I think the Z4 should still be fun.

I realy want to drive the Williams a whole season. But I cant for the life of me set that car up. MIght still run it with setups from the forums though.
Also gone continue with the nascar iracing series.
Plus im gone drive in the blondies mx5 league.

Out of all the Rookie/D Class series in season 2, which one would you guys recommend, both from a participation and a cost standpoint? Wardez suggested using the Solstice in the inRacing Challenge, but the Jetta, Kia, and Skippy all look tempting.

They really aren't that bad once you get the hang of how the car feels. No matter how much people tell you about the oversteer, nothing can prepare you for how much you really get. You just need to have a good solid race setup that works for the whole race and you should be fine, although if you touch the throttle too early you will regret it as the tyres overheat and wear massively.

The participation is ok for the Aussies, and Europeans can get a race or two early morning. It does seem that more Europeans are giving it a go so participation is getting a bit better, it's just slow progress at the moment. We really need the Holden As well as the New Ford to help boost the participation more.

Ahhh i might buy the car fun the fun races to see what its like :D

The MX-5 and Solstice in the Grand Touring Cup are always good choices, you get your requirements to get out of D class with no extra expense and the racing is awesome!
The Kia will definitely be popular for the first few weeks and the Caddy will bring in new interest with the new series and the open setups. So the Global challenge will definitely be worth a shot!

Whats the average attendence?

Like a lot of other series it all depends on the track. If the car suits the track well it will have good attendance, if it doesn't suit the car well then it won't have great attendance, however a couple of races will still go official.

The difficult thing is finding races that suit European times.

So im thinking of getting a new computer for iracing. What is the absolute best graphics card out there? And whats one that decent price but can still run at full setting? Currently my laptop runs around 20fps at lowest settings so i need an upgrade lol. I was thinking about just getting a walmart computer and upgrading it from there, its got an i7 processor is that enough? Im not good with computers so any help would be appreciated.

Just did the Fun GT race at Interlagos. Won but, that first half lap

You have read my mind. ive never thought interlagos and the corvette would be such a prefect match.

i have a i5 (i7 wont do much for gaming, but for heavy video editing it will help a good bit) and a gtx680. run triple screens with everything on. get great fps, solid around 80 on all tracks no matter the conditions. can see spikes of 300 fps if i turn the limiter off sometimes.

side note. anyone getting the club sport shifter with sequential mode?

The i7 is a great CPU. You should have a GPU that can do tripled I would think. AMD 7000 series or NDA 600 series. You should look for higher PSU options too. 850w+

Downloading the miniumum updates I need to hit the track in the Kia then I'll download the other updates later. Want to get behind the wheel of the Optima.

How much would one of those cost me? And would it be able to run triples? I dont see triple screens in the near future but if i do, i dont want to have to go get more cards. And do those have an hdmi output? Im gonna be hooking it up directly to my 42" tv. And what is a PSU?

I bought an HP equal to I-5 specs, added 700 watt PSU and EVGA 660 SC. Card was just over $200. This is also my work computer for hm, so I did the upgrades over several months. I am no computer guy, but this set-up works quite well. In the end it will depend on your budget. Triple screens can get expensive. Over monirors I went with flat screen LCD TVs 32". Way cheaper than 27" monitors from my exp.

PSU is power supply unit. Most stock pc come with approx 200-300 watts. My 700 watt PSU runs triples fine.

Erm, the KIA likes to understeer. Never thought it would be so bad, I love the way the Jetta handles but this has too much power.

Sorry for the long post, im on my ipod. Is this a good computer? And is 550 a good price?

Thank you for reading this ad. I have a Brand New Gaming Computer for sale. This computer is very powerful and fast. Let's start with CPU, the brain of the computer. In this gaming PC I have installed AMD Athlon II X4 3.3GHz Quad Core processor. 4 cores allow the multi tasking using this PC. To ensure this amazing processor runs smooth without lagging, I have installed 8GB of DDR3 memory. DDR3 memory is much faster than DDR2, which is a technology memory. Speaking of multi tasking, the graphics card in this computer is Radeon HD 4870 1GB Video Memory. This is a very powerful graphics card that can handle all the new games out in the market including Battlefield 3, Guild Wars II, Arma III, World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria, Starcraft, League of Legends and many more game. Not only is this computer good for gaming, it is amazing for music production, movie making, and many other graphics intensive work. There is plenty of space in hard drive with 750GB installed on this computer. This gaming desktop also comes with DVD burner that creates a 4.5 GB DVD disk in less than 6 minutes. All these parts are handled with power supply of 550Watts which gives more than enough power to run this computer effectively. Finally, this computer is in great looking case with lots of LED lights. I personally believe that the gaming PC should look amazing in addition to being a powerful and fast one. The case as shown in picture has lots of fans and huge room inside the case so that the computer can 'breathe.' I have seen many gaming computers built on used dell, or HP cases and I ask myself a simple question, "How is that computer going to maintain cool temperature inside without proper cooling fans?" I am all about cooling when it comes to gaming PC. This computer has Windows 7 operating system installed and activated so there is no need for you to go buy a new operating system. The computer is also equipped with Microsoft Office 2003 for your basic productivity.

I absolutely guarantee my work on this pc so I offer 60 day parts and labor warranty. I will also give you customer support over the period of time regarding upgrades or repairs even after the warranty has expired. I purchase the parts in bulk to bring the price of the computer down and I pass on the savings to you. I build these computers as a hobby so I bring you this amazing computer at this very low price. Please call or text to come check out this computer. It is all built and set up for you to come check it out.

(480) 612-7869

I absolutely guarantee the satisfaction. The price is the lowest I can sell this computer for so please do not ask if I would take less. If you do some researching, you will quickly realize that this price on this amazing gaming pc is very reasonable. I do not accept trades and I only accept cash. I apologize for the inconvenience in advance. Thank you for reading this ad and hopefully you found a perfect computer in this one. Have a great day.
