I'm on a slump I think now. After being disconnected while leading or fighting for the lead I've lost heart a bit. Lost 250ir over the last two days. Gonna' give the skippy a break as I'm just getting annoyed with it and myself.

Always next week when there's a fresh start on new tracks, hopefully my usual series (grand touring cup) has people racing next week.

EDIT: realised my last post didn't make sense. Corrected it to say 'I span out of the lead'

I gotta get into the UK&I nascar leauge fed up of idiots in the rookie series! God I just I just want my D licence in oval

weirdest thing happened, I was in a Caddy practice session and I changed a few graphics settings, clicked done, and it went back to the normal replay mode with the menu and it froze, the "S" in the framerate box was full to the right in red and it said everyone's throughput was unacceptable......

It won't change as much even in D class, but atleast you won't kill your car with a minor tap. I haven't looked back since getting out of those.

Agree. The good racing starts at C. And that's still debatable.

Rookie is horrible for oval last season I didn't even make 3.00 in SR but I'm at 2.67 so trying to get automatic promotion soon

I've actually found best racing in C class trucks but I'm a huge truck fan period. I'd rather watch them any day.

Well trucks is where you start racing to race and not race to avoid wrecks. Trucks and Nationwide are my favourites. Only because I feel the Sprint Cup cars have too much power though.

Right now Im confused I'm a rookie in oval but in the carburettor cup it's saying I can fulfil my MPR I'm confused

It definitely can't. It's just a fun series. Street stocks are your best bet. Where they running this week?

Good stuff 👍 what series?
Raced the full layout of Sebring for the first time in iRacing yesterday, it's awesome in the DP. All the bumps really make it a bit of a handful, but it's fun. Was doing alright until I put it in the wall 30 minutes in. I think Patrocles was in the race too.
Last few weeks I've only had an hour or so practice before the race on Saturday mornings, I think I'm just losing focus a little through the races. Need more time in the week!

Nice win! First one is always the best.

I give up on Indycar at Homestead. The setup flat out stinks to even attempt to put power down for long run, it loses read grip way too much on exit before you even feel it going. I'm either battling a super loose or trying to not have much wheel input which makes me worry about outside wall. Oh well, maybe ill practice for Indy!

Glad that I could get an official Grand Am race in since I was gone all week. Ended up winning and had to overtake several cars to do so. I thought I was well off the pace at Sebring, but apparently my pace was not so bad.

So which of you 100% club actually use all that content..?

Well Mac now thanks to owning All the content I can be an Oval racer :D I hot lap the Gen6 cars out on the oval tracks. I can go 30 or 40 laps without an incident, with no other cars it's easy :D I might not be ready for prime time yet but it's nice having all the content.

Instead of wondering if a certain car is crap, now I know a certain car is crap. :D If you have disposable income why not purchase all the content? I have 2 years in the service and one day I think I'll give the oval circuit a shot.

Congratulations, I had a 3rd place finish which I am very pleased with. I'm just holding on to a B license and 1st and 2nd place cars were both A license with over 3000 IR points and here's me with just barely 1000 IR, so to place 3rd amongst these guys was a great showing for me. I have one win in the Grand AM series and that was in my Riley DP. ATM I'm in first place in div 7, which for you young guys probably isn't that great, for me it is something I'm proud of.

dont go as fast as you can all the time. and make sure you are not over turning the turns. Jav i suggest you really give oval a try. its SO much more fun than oval, so much more closer racing. its the most "fun" i would say. while road racing is more of a test of skill.

Jav
Be good at turning left, that's about it...
:p

Jav do you still run the Vette? Tomorrow i plan on doing some okayama races once i get some more practice in. I so rarely get races in these days, i feel like my subscription is being wasted lol.

Look after the car, keep it away from walls are away form other cars, start from the pits if you have to.

This week is ideal for gaining SR in the Street Stocks, Charlotte Speedway is wide and open and easy to back out of if it gets loose. Just run it from the pits and keep it tidy. This track is where I did it.
