So be it.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for those... I'm holding my breath waiting for Shift 2!
It's getting painfully obvious that the emasculation of A-Spec was a completely deliberate choice. Not a logical one, not a popular one, but obviously deliberate..
But it's the ONLY solution to the main problem in the game offline, and sadly, also the easiest to implement. Don't need cut scenes, don't need new tracks or cars. Every car and almost every track in GT5 is woefully underutilized. This fixes that. Nothing else does. It also fixes the main gripes of grinding and ease of filling your car collection..
PD seem too invested in their original intent to change horses mid-stream, no matter HOW easy it would be for them Pride cometh before a fall.....
Sure, GT5 sales have done well (though I read that, I think in the UK, GT5 was reported as the most returned game ever) but GT6 sales may be a shadow of those if they stick stubbornly to their vision. Particularly with Shift 2 and FM4 saying how much of the things we have asked for WILL be part of their new releases, and improved physics being high on their priority list, things may be VERY different by the time that GT6 comes out (2015 or so?!)..
No comment about the actual BODY of the post, though?
If you can read aggression into as mildly worded a post as that, I am sorry. Truly, truly sorry.
Does the AUP mandate that I have to agree with the moderators at all times?
Keep in mind that Kaz might not be able to completely state his mind on what needs to be done to fix the game.
Developers blogs are rather notorious for being exactly what is on the developer's minds... after everything has been filtered, trimmed and approved by the Publisher.
It is not a question of being forced to agree with us at all times. Destinkeys implied that anybody who disagreed with him was not worth listening to. I asked him to tone it down because looking at his posting history, he has been quite aggressive of late. He chose to interpret this as an attack on his person. So I gave him a little bit of time to think it over and maybe reassess how he presents himself. He only has himself to blame, really.Your a brave soul man..... Dont disagree with people that have more power than you especially when its there job to keep the peace.

Somebody just called me stupid for quoting the original and first post of a thread when I was the second one to post in it and I didnt see no action being taken (even if it was not the most smart thing to do on my behalf) but I see now that if I was a moderator here it would have been a diferent matter. In fact I think I could just ban who ever was not in agreement with me. I though someone had to disrespect the AUP or another user for that to happen
People here are going to disagree but imo the mods in this forum are too lenient. There is no other forum that is considered a FAN site<(GT PLANET) that allows people to blatantly hype up the competitive products like it is done here.

Profanity and blatant insults don't have to be present for someone to be trolling. And for the record, before anyone gets indignant not everyone who prefers or plays Forza is a troll, i.e. Luminus.
To Jordan's credit, I believe he goes the extra mile in most cases to allow everyone to speak their mind and express their views, within reason of course.
Its one of the main reasons I respect and enjoy this site.
Under the institution of what you recommend, it wouldn't take long until its a pure fanboy club, void of any criticism, legitimate or otherwise.
I must say I don't envy him under the circumstances, which I think are somewhat unique at the present time.
Many here have been sorely disappointed with the release of GT5, having come way overdue and way short of expectation.
Hence the venting and frustration of many seems to be of epic proportions.
Since this is a site dedicated to the GT series, this must be a trying time in many ways under the circumstances.
I only hope leniency will continue to prevail until this time passes.
Nah, the mods allow us to tear trolls to shreds at other GT5 sites I visit and the mood is far more positive than here even WITH criticism of the game.
More than likely Jordan put the feedback page up to seperate the trolls from the plain dissatisfied. Trolls will simply not bother with giving constructive criticism.
effectively this thread is going in circles.
Yes, the majority of us are disappointed with GT5, but I think there is a point to which we should not bother discussing it any further and it is very pointless going on and on and on about it. I think we should set our cross hairs towards GT6 and raise our concerns in respect to THAT game so PD don't colossally balls it up again. I'd like to take this opportunity for the Mods to open up the GT6 forums.

Funnily enough, those same people accuse us of having a pro-Turismo bias and only allowing what we agree with.
This is first and foremost a fan site, for an open discussion on everything related to Gran Turismo. And that includes its competition. We allow all points of view, but we stress that everything must be put in its proper place.
Which is why I noted earlier that this thread and the GT5 vs. Forza thread are to remain open whether or not people want to read complaints about either title or comparisons of GT5 to other games.
Still, some people have trouble accepting these limitations and have tried to push the boundaries of what is and isn't allowed, always backing off just before going over the line.
Frankly, that wastes our time. We have enough newbies to babysit and fires to extinguish as it is.
Thats pretty much the meandering but eventual course of all threads.
Your probably right in that GT6 is the only place most of these shortcomings stand a chance of being rectified.
The feedback page is a constructive way to channel the many dislikes and wants in the game into a request bulletin board.
Not a bad idea.
BTW have you made any suggestions over there?
Ha, you just don't know when to quit do you
You have been quite possibly the most negative, uncontributimg influence I've seen in any of these threads. One day you hate the game so much that you'll never play it again. The next you claim you play it all the time even though you "so called" criticize it. If you continue, I will literally quote your threads WITH the dates.
I just enjoy winding you up![]()

It is relevant to a question asked about the relevance of this thread. In other words, a reminder to everyone about what the topic is.
And the topic is not me. Thank you. I have already posted one such reminder in another thread, and I do not expect to have to babysit people through an explanation of a previous explanation every time I post one. Clear?
