So GT6 is so damn easy because of newbies. (Kaz words) But how many newbies actually bought the game? Was difficulty EVER a rampant complaint ?

What about "first game and easy" option for whoever it may concern?

Edit, aah i see you noticed.

Added more options

I've played GT1, GT4 and GT5 before GT6. The game is easy. I'm a decent driver when I'm at my best and on GT5 I got bronze trophies on all licences first, then when I improved I got silver and gold on some of them and I had to work hard for that. In GT6 I got gold trophies in 1-3 tries on most of licences, missions and Goodwood challenges. I doubt I improved that much in a year. The seasonals are even easier, I did however gold those on GT5 as well.
I don't really mind it considering I'll have the platinum trophy in a couple of days, but it isn't a true measurement of your skills.

I remember that I spend 6 month of practising just to gold that vettel events in gt5 without hacks , glitches , bugs !
I even got notes on my wheel with sector times :D
to gold all 60 license tests took me also some time !
GT6 1month = everthing gold , everthing done

but I just love it , though :gtpflag:

GT6 is my second GT game and I found the license tests far too easy compared to GT5. I got Platinum in GT6 in just a few weeks as compared to 2 years that it took me in GT5. Some of the challenges in GT5 were pretty hard and took weeks to complete while nothing in GT6 seemed hard at all. Everything was completed in just a few tries, so yes, GT6 is pretty easy in my opinion.

Need an option for no anchovies.

I wouldnt go boasting its too easy just yet. The red bull events havent been released. And we all remember what they were like in gt5....

I wasn't bragging at all, merely giving my opinion and answering the OP's question from my point of view. As for the Red Bull events, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

If they were even incredibly difficult that wouldn't change the fact that the remaining 99% of the game is easy. Same with direct opposite - if the game was super difficult and Red Bull events easy you wouldn't label the game as "easy".

Just like my thoughts. But I add one more.
Catchup, why the hell it is so strong or have not possible to adjust.
Example, in ib license, Nurburgring, I was in a well lead, lost my concentration and spinned. Got behind 22 sec which I easily gained and won. In GT5 if you spin you knew you must restart. AI car(s) also get amazing driving skills if you overtake the one who is in the lead.
On the other hand, I tried GT5 few days ago just for fun and it's awful to drive. GT6 feels just like real car shoul/would.

I agree with that. There could be 2 better ways to do it.
1) Let us adjust whether it's on or off.
2) Only make it active on earlier races so new players can maybe adapt or something.

It's too easy. The license tests in previous GT's were way harder. Also, just for the lack of endurance races, the game just seems like baby mode.

The AI weren't as tough as before. This isn't my first GT game, I played the series since the first one. GT6 is better than GT5, but the best GT installment to me is A-Spec.

Offline: Not that much, but the AI can get aggressive for no obvious reason.

Online: It's a crapshoot, one lobby can have people just dicking around, and another could have serious racers (Like those in S.N.A.I.L.).

Way too easy. Can't win a race? Just turn SRF on. Also the rubber band AI is worst then ever.

GT1 had some seriously tough races, plus back then you were handicapped with a digital controller (no analog triggers or sticks). Driving a stock Viper or TVR on SSR11 at night was nerve racking. Also being the first real driving game the learning curve was steep for most people. Before GT it was Ridge Racer and NFS type arcade games. Getting all gold in GT1 license tests really meant something.

Been fan of GT since GT1, and loved them. GT4/5 are my favs. Now 6, still way to many MX-5s. Reduce those numbers then could get other cars in the game that 6 is still missing. Also, the races are good. But, with Edurance races missing thats a big let down for me. The licenses are ok, some way to easy, GT5 it took me 5-10 goes at some.

The endurance bug in 6 is still annoying. Just feels like they rushed the game to get big sales,, or something. Also now, with DLCs and updates they can release half a game, and say well it isnt finished, we know, but will update it, soon.

That, isnt good enough, in my eyes. We still expected to pay full price for half the game. GT4, i think was the "last" complete GT game to be complete on release date.

Forgot, please bring back B-Spec, i know be in an update (hope Endurance races be with that aswell)

I played GT4, 5 Prologue and 5. I found 6 very easy. I have to drive cars that are about 80 - 120 PP less than the max for it to be challenging, and then I still almost always win. I've got the platinum for it and the only challenging things were a couple of the S license tests. Winning all the races was a breeze, except maybe 24 minutes of Le Mans took a few tries because you're driving an extremely powerful car in the rain.

Ive been playing the series since GT1 and yes i think its to easy
pretty much winning everything at the first try and if not i only missed it by a like 0.200 so second try gold (stuff like licenses for example)
i also think that racing wise i dont think it gets much harder at the IA and S races i think its just as easy and the only big diffrence is the time it actually takes to complete
in my opinion the curve of getting more difficult should be steeper
i play with a modded Logitech G25 and its not really a challenge
especially when i compare it to other games (driving wise)
for example LFS (Live for Speed) is very bad at content compared to GT6 but very good at driving / fun ...

but i have to say the addition of freinds leaderboards on licenses and such is a good addition because that is what actually makes it "harder" if ur competetive and want to keep up with ur friends
to be honest withouth this friend compare feature i would have probably already stopped playing, or would play way less.

Its easy because none of the race has damage.. I can sling shot off of some of the walls and I get no damage.. I slam into other AIs and I can slow down.

HA Ha ! I lways use this trick to to ram into the AI for braking. Tsk Tsk./..

Apparently not. No votes for challenging whatsoever, wow.

I gotten all GT Parts the best Part of GT was in my Mind GT 3.Because of the Endurance Races and the L2 Option to hold the Gear. That i missed in 4,5, and 6 too.Anyways, is GT6 a very good Game i find. However i spend more Hrs in.6 as in 5.The Bugs i hope will be fixed

Played 4 5P and 5 before 6 came along. even though its pretty easy, I only struggled with a couple of the licences. Maybe one day Pd will realize that we're mostly past the game part of their game and the real fun we make out of it is racing against each other.
