Is the wait long because PD need to get 2010 official Liveries?

As the title suggests, what do you all think? I.e. Nascar, IRC, WRC, and Super GT?
Or have all the official teams released their details already?

I actually asked this question in the General discussion thread but i hope this is not the case as we can probably add the new liveries if there is a custom livery feature

Or updates via psn, that would be a lot easier!

I doubt it has anything to do with it. A license like WRC or NASCAR uaully only covers one specific season. It doesn't matter if GT5 releases in 2015, they can still only use the cars and liveries from the season they licensed. Ofcourse, they can get licenses for more than one season, but I don't think they'll have seen sense in that. The delay is likely to be a marketing move and nothing more.

Liveries for 2010 would mean car models for 2010. It's way too late for that. The cars aren't even out yet, nor are their specs known. We'll be lucky if we get 2009 cars and not 2008...

i don't know.. however it's a shame that a game that will be released for christmas 2010 has licences from 2008.
