What has money to do with it being no simulation? It is as much a sim for bikes as GT is for cars ( if GT can be described as a full sim anyway ).
I think the challenges were chosen because there's a limited selection of bikes compared to the selection of cars in GT4.
Money would be less significant considering this fact than it is in GT whereby you could purchase up to a 1000 cars and TT has only about 250 bikes ( all possible coulour combinations included ).
Having a different game-structure doesn't mean the gameplay isn't like a sim.
But you're right, it isn't a full game like GT with a limited content although the money aspect is the last thing which bothered me.
The gameplay by itself is proper simulation, due to almost real-life physics and changing every aspect of the bike to alter performance, but the no money system is unrealistic, but unimportant. In my opinion, it is a proper sim.
Im pretty sure he meant the "Simulation mode" As in like gt where theres the world map and everything.
I dont think he meant to ask if TT is a simulator or not,
But otherwise, Yeah no money sucks.
I think it is a pretty good sim, except for when the braking gets all wonky and the back end wobbles around and you still don't crash.
Really hope they make a tt2.
And I just started playing again. After finishing the game shortly after it came out, I've now just earned my novice license again
