Not to go off-topic, but I was just watching some TV here. Had kind of a rough go in school on Valentine's night, but my night was made better when I saw a commercial for Gran Turismo 4. It wasn't a 10-second cutdown like the teasers we got. It was the real deal. Then watching some college basketball between Air Force @ New Mexico and it was halftime, I seen ANOTHER GT4 commercial that featured a car spinning out, then a 1960s Camaro showing the rest of the pack who rules New York City. Of course, I have no video to share because I have no resources to do such.

But after seeing two commercials of GT4 in one night, that gave me plenty of reminders that GT4 is coming within only a week now that it's 2/15/2005 here in Houston, Texas. Don't expect to see me laying up in a hospital bed when GT4 comes out. I'll probably be sitting on my own bed (as I am now) typing up replies like this one here. I'm kind of a semi-casual fan of Gran Turismo. If I was devoted, I'd skip school later tonight and hit a store to try to get GT4... then maybe call in sick- for the rest of the week! But, all these teasers. Oh, baby. I can't wait for this doggone game! Sure like to bypass all the Daytona stuff on Speed Channel and look forward to GT4.

And one more update - make that THREE commercials I've seen for GT4. The third featured rally racing. A dirty Subaru Impreza WRC gave way to GT4 rallying (except ice racing).

Only the TRUE GT gamer will run this game in A-Spec only!! I am one such gamer. I have patiently waited and waited for the realease of GT4 for too long to run it in B-Spec mode! 7 days until my reserved copy gets here, and then -- *poof* I will disappear into my room -- phone gets disconnected, the computer gets shut off -- and the front door bolted!! I will only rest when I can't keep my eyes open, and race when they are open!!

This game, from the threads here and reviews on other sites and my own anticipation, will justify the long wait for this perfect game of games!!

I think by "TRUE GT4 GAMER" he meant oldschool GT4 player that is t soo attatched to GT2 he doesn't want to let go.

How do you figure? On Feb 21st, they'll all be on trucks on the way to the store. And many stores will already have them. How the hell do you expect to "suspend" the shipments?

February 23rd for me. Oh well, one more day wouldn't hurt. Hell, I have waited two years, what would a day hurt? Anyways, since this is official, I don't feel so tense about this. It is a good thing to pre-order this thing, considering this will probably, even though don't quote me on this, be the most popular selling game of 2005, possibly beyond. One week to go...

actually thats a common misconception, home schoolers have just as good of a chance as people who attend public and private schools, to get into college, you can go your entire life homeschooled and still get into college, and that has been done before to prove it as a fact.

Some of you guys are a little insane. I mean, does it really matter if you get the game on the 24th or 23rd as opposed to the 22nd? You will probably play thousands of hours over a period of a couple of years and yet one or two days makes that much of a difference. I'm not trying to bash anyone, just trying to understand the logic. Believe me, I have been eagerly awaiting this game for years, but just knowing an actual date that it is coming out for sure is enough to comfort me. I just like to play gt3 for now, seeing how fun that still is, and then I can appreciate gt4 to its fullest whenever I happen to get it.
