Well... walmart at midnight was a bust last night, then my friend swore to me that sams wholesale club had it in stock last friday but could not release it til tuesday at 7 am. He works there and swears the stock guys told him it was there. So, up til midnight calling/driving to walmarts.... in bed by 1am, eagerly anticipating my "ace in the hole" with sams. Get up at 6:30am ride my motorcycle accross town to sams and meet my friend the employee outside only to hear him say... "um yea, no one back there this morning knows anything about it and they dont see it either" No I am at work, tired, and miserable.
By the way, the guy at gamestop explained it like this: It's shipped out and due to arrive in the distribution centers up north this morning, Gamestop has sub contracted planes to make special same day flights to have the game shipped from up north to everywhere else so that we can have the game today. They do that for the really big releases. So gamestop, eb and the like will be the first retail outlets to get this game, period. Everyone else is just at best, next daying them from the distribution centers so they can release it wednesday. Places like wally world and target wont even do that, since video games make up about .00001 percent of their total sales they could care less about spending money to get the games there any faster.
The video game lady said to check back around UPS delivery time in the afternoon. By then I can just pick up my pre-order at EB. I'll give TRU and BB/CC at try in a couple hours. I live only a few blocks from about 1000 stores and I'm bored so i might as well try...
