$5 deposit plus $48.24 to pay off the balance = $53.24

49.99 x 1.065 (6.5% sales tax in MN) = $53.24

So, uh, yeah. the $5 goes towards your purchase price.

its only worth living here 6months of the year though because in the winter time the roads are clogged with snowbirds (sorry its in our blood to hate them) and accidents are everywhere. Its mainly the elderly that cause the accidents. Florida is claimed to have the worst drivers snowbirds say..... but we are only defending ourselfs!
