i do agree female drivers and avatars should be added. It's only fair since there are females who race in real life and ones who play the game too.

Can we have customizable hair, glasses, eyes, ears, noses, and the whole nine yards too?
I'd hate to not be able to fully dress up, since we're playing the sims now.![]()
We've already bought the standard XJR9. I'm wondering whether the DLC XJR9 would be counted as a new car. If so, it's quite expensive! It's better to just change our current XJR9' standard model to the premium one.
I never understood why people say it "should have been like that in the first place".If it could have been it would have. They arent mircale workers.
Its like saying im not buying a new flat screen tv because my black white 10inch tv shouldve been a flatscreen from the beginning. Things takes time to develop.
But I can see how paying for standard conversion could be an issue. For me it really depend on which car is being converted. But 5 dollars for 6 new cars you cant beat that.
On standards to premium, I'd pay to get Honda EG6 and 93 Nissan Primera(Infinity G20) both with RM treatment.
Maybe they'll implement the same physic model from the premium to the standard Jaguar, who knows...

I think if they just didn't include standard cars and never gave us a super-high car count advertised this would be a non-issue.That isn't the same at all, the technology to create a modern TV didn't exist when a 10 inch black and white TV was sold. On the other hand PD had the means to create PS3 quality cars but instead included 800 PS2 quality cars. For that reason I don't see why we should pay extra to get a PS3 quality car in a PS3 game. It really should have been that way to begin with, just like every other game of this generation.
So what's the point?I hope you're not making fun of the Female avatar idea. Because all it would be, is having the chest raise out a bit, and make the person slimmer in shape. Because we won't see the face anyone.

But if they didn't include the standard cars the game would have been pretty hollow. Come on PD has to make money somehow in a world still struggling in a recession. Besides, PD's hand in DLC is forced as they are sony's direct property. If you got issues about DLC, take it up with the puppeteer, not the puppet.
Well to you it isn't, but to them it is. And you can't really provide evidence PD's inner workings either. Are kaz and pd saints? No.
And PD has to take some orders from Sony. It was Sony who really wanted 3D remember, so why is it far fetched for Sony to manipulate Dlc prices? You obviously don't like DLC so why keep moaning about it when others are not too bothered? I'm buying it, but if you don't want to that's fine. But to say Sony has no control over Dlc is asinine.
Isn't that what a forum is for, opinions? I'm not moaning about anything, moaning is "OMG this DLC is too expensive and it sucks". I'm just saying what I think of it in a constructive manner with reasoning.
I also think people need to take a stand against things like this. People were rightfully up in arms about the issues with the first DLC pack, PD listened and made the right changes. Although this is only one car in a pack I feel we should be making PD aware in general that paying extra money to get cars in the quality they should have been in to begin with isn't on. Putting 800 PS2 quality cars in the game in the first place was bad enough, asking up to pay more money to replace them with proper versions is just a slap in the face as far as I'm concerned.
Otherwise they're just going to continue down this slippery slope and before you know it we'll be paying for all sorts of ridiculous things.

Stay on topic. If you want to debate the ethics of DLC, there are better threads for that. If you want to discuss cars going from Standard to Premium, you're in the right place. Before you go any further, read the previous posts, please.
Who made you a mini mod? The thread title is 'Jan. 18 DLC Question- Standard to Premium?', that is what i'm discussing, the offering of standard to premium upgrades as DLC.
