It's not a bug, you get a different starting line up everytime you exit and re-enter the event. It's common knowledge that if the Honda city is on pole, it's a very easy race. If the miata or R32 are on pole it's a different story.

I haven't noticed a tune for the Mugen Motul Civic (I may have passed it up). If anyone is interested I used this tune and won Tsukuba by about 15 seconds (the Honda City helped block the decent opponents too).

I just limbo'ed my MR2 down to 360pp on Deep Forest. Good for just over 1mil credits.

Anyone lower?

mitsu lancer gsr ('83 i think) did it all for me :)
just some gear and suspension tweaking should do the trick for most :)

rx7 savanna 85 for tsukuba and anyone for the others...

The issue remains, what was the lead car?

Dumped the Skyline GTS-T down to it's minimum pp level or there abouts - 326pp. Just about managed to win the Deep Forest race with it, which had the same Skyline at a ridiculous amount in the lead compared to the other AI.

The Mt Also race is a pain in the (_|_) when the Miata is the rabbit. I'm using the Mugen Ciivic. It's getting bogged down pretty bad at the hill peaks. The highest peak in 3rd gear I'm getting around 60mph. I'm going to try to cycle in a weaker car like the Accord or City Turbo. Or, I'll have to resort to SRF ;(

The issue remains, what was the lead car?

the miata, I finished first lap around 30seconds down...Won by just 2seconds driving 1.09 on first lap and 1.07 the others

I was about 15 seconds back from the Miata. I just ran against the Skyline and finished 3 seconds back. Now I have the City Turbo. I think I'll grind this a few times after I get the win. I really like this track, it was used in another Seasonal. It's murder on low powered cars though ;)

EDIT: we'll, the City didn't do such a good job of holding cars back in this race! I passed the City at the end of lap 3, the Skyline was already 7 seconds ahead of the City! While the Miata was in 4th or something like that. I passed the Skylie starting lap 5 and beat it by 5 seconds. The Miata finished 2nd.

Won by 2 seconds over the R32 which started 1st.

I bet this race won't become a grinding race for money.

Wutt, I just finished in second with a total time of 5.37.06, damn Miata in front :l

It's likely the miata is held up somewhere or it's a very low 1:07 the rest of the way. With miata up front, a 1:07 first lap and 1:06 remaining laps is what I took to win by the 2nd last corner. With srf though.

Hi Any Got Any Good Setting's For the MUGEN MOTUL Civic IT doing my head in now Will B nice to get it out of the why please HEEELLLP

Don't Worry I did It Happy Dayz Fastest Lap Was A 1:06.2 God glad thats 1's over with lol

The mugen has such terrible under steer.

The mugen has such terrible under steer.

Try setting the front toe all the way out. If you get really fed up, turn on SRF.

Just won it with the 4200R, but thanks for the tip!

Btw, having a noob moment..
What is SRF? I feel stupid asking this.

Hey how can i get the Mt. Aso Racetrack exactly as it is in the seasonal event?

This version of the track just rules. I want to drive it with other cars too.

We can't. I disliked that track at first. It's pretty fun once you get the rhythm of it.

Finally, I've won at Tsukuba! Was miles behind with premium 300ZX and premium MX-5, so I tried a humble standard MR2 1600, and it clicked after series of tweaks. Firstly, I stiffened and lowered the suspension (lost by 2.5 secs), then I added SRF (not a fan of that, but for the purpose of this challenge I felt like I had to; anyway - lost by 1.7 secs). Lastly, I turned TCS to 1 and won by 0.4 secs (lap times at around 1:06.6xx, using DS3). Hopefully, the remaining four races won't be so difficult.

You might not get exactly the same but with a little patience you should be able to create a very similar design with the track editor

Can some one tell me what is the best car for this event?
And can some one tell me please the best settings...

I cant win any race.. :( I downt no how to tune a good setting.

Thnx

make sure you place the ballast right. 52/48 was perfect for me.

mine had been upgraded pretty heavily for bob, so to get it down down to 395PP (mucho extra credits, it's really worth it) i had to power all the way down to 50% and add about 175 kg ballast... all 5 races were still pretty easy and i'm not that great a driver.

i love it too.

Hopefully, the remaining four races won't be so difficult.
deep forest i found about the same as tsukuba but the other three were first time easy... well, not first time for mt aso but that's because you''ll never have seen it before and there are a couple of turns that really jump out at you. by you time you get there it's no longer a question of driving faster, just of not hitting the fence!

Just beat the 420PP with the Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package) '89
Starting Pole was:
(1) Honda Ballade Sports CR-X 1.5i '83
(2) Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX '83
(3) Toyota Celica XX 2800GT '81

I used the tune provided by L_Hamilton, however I couldn't figure out what he had for the gear ratios because they weren't available for my car, so here is the tune I used.

[I take no ownership of this tune. I used L_Hamilton's and tweaked it slightly, entirely out of confusion.]

850,000 (170%) on Deep Forest with a 370pp Mugen Motul Civic 87. ( 140hp, 1090kg).

This is a very very easy win. About 8 minutes.

Will try at 50% power limiter later.

Can you share your setup ? thanks mate...
