Japanese 90's challenge easter egg or coincidence?

Has anyone noticed the shape of the track in the Toscana race?
It bears a strong resemblance to the Moai statues on Easter Island.

Coincidence? What do you think?

Yup. Once I golded it in a reasonible prized car, I took the Honda Civic RM with racing tires. It's indeed pretty damn fun.

Still I don't see any Easter Island conspiracy...

Wouldn't that be something if some of the upcoming DLC content is fantasy landmark tracks as well as tracks from previous Gran Turismos.
Stonehenge, Easter Island, Mt Rushmore, Great pyramids... etc.

It's just some far-fetched speculation but the thought crossed my mind when I saw the Toscana track layout.
