Just one thing: I am not the fastest one. Lion posted on the HSR thread a 1:12:4xx time.. i might get there, but it will be hard as hell.
I'm sure by the time I check this thread tmr a lot of times will ahve lowered.

@Broth3r

Thats some good lap times. I think the NSX will come out on top here, or should be the fastest make on track. My top lap time was a 1:12.430 in a race (using the Xanavi Nismo GTR 03), but its early days yet, I'm no where near consistent and am probably only averaging 1:13.000 over a race distance. Its a difficult track, as your not driving one corner like HSR, your often driving 3 corners at a time, stuff one up and you mess up the rest.

@Tiger - I loved this track in GT4 as well, kicking up the leaves through the chicane created some great shots with the DB9 :D

getting a 1:13.7xx on a Woodone Supra with TCS on.

Edit:
1:18.8xx on an RE with no tuning & TCS.

this track is really difficult ... i get 1.15.3 without TCS :dunce:

my NSX is really hard to control ( I know it's a very demanding car :ouch:) in tight turns, and it's horribly difficult to have 3 or 4 laps under 1.17 ... even though I completely remade the car setup

I totally agree this race will be about making no errors rather than being quick on a single lap :scared:

from last thread :

@ gz

How do you tell if Active Steering is on?

my bad ... I was messing with the stability control LED on the HUD :dunce:

Lol i've got your NSX beat by my 1'16.978 Celica

EDIT: After pushing a little bit i got it down to a 1'16.357. Turn one and Turn 8 and the circle turn i can get like no grip whatsoever. I'm taking it at like 30mph. I've tryed messing with the camber but it really does nothing.

lol ... things are now way better !!! I have my NSX on par with your Celica ... I spent hours between 1.16.0 and 1.16.5 :dunce::) ... to be honest I've rather been messing with the toe to get to 1.15.3 :sly:

Holy crap...was doing some more race practice, and laid down a 1:14.666...then proceeded to totally **** up the next lap & had to quit (went off majorly twice, then hit the pit wall coming to the last corner). DOH!

Running in the Garaiya I get no grip out of the slow corners as well. I've tried all sorts of settings but the defaults netted me my best time of 1'17.9XX and that is giving up quite a bit of time in turns 1 and 5. Turn 6 makes me want to put my fist through a wall. I don't know how many times I've spun out pushing through there too hard.

I was initially quite pleased with myself on Monday afternoon when I was able to put down a 1:19.1xx personal best lap time - until I saw that people were hitting in the mid-to-low 1:16 range! I've since been able to drop that to 1:17.5xx, but it's still not really a competitive time. My unfamiliarity with this course is coming back to haunt me!

Honestly though, I shouldn't feel so bad, my times are much worse in my GT500 car (in the 1:15.xxx range)!

I ran my best time in GT300 on Sunday (1'17.9XX) and I haven't been able to come close to it since. I'd like to get my hands on a ghost to see where these 1'16.XXX's are coming from.

Since this is the exhibition season, I don't mind sharing a ghost before submission time. This is my current best GT300 time, 1:17.537. It isn't a 1:16.xxx, but it may help someone that needs to break out of the 1:19/1:18 range.

:)

By the way, it is a North American ghost replay (UCUS). You may, or may not, already have a ghost replay folder with the exact same name, so keep that in mind.

i am just waiting for the season, i work all week. got a better cam, see you guys at twin ring, or whatever the first track is

Alright I got my GT300 steady in the high 1:16's - low 1:17's consistently

This track requires bucket loads of fines, I see myself running mid to low 1:16's however breaking the 1:15 barrier seams a little tough.

My GT500 car is all over the place, Im thinking of running a few others to see if there is any that can be more composed at the low speeds. As is Im far behind with a 1:14.5XX.

keep the great times coming 👍👍👍

just to make sure of the deadlines....

My GT500 Lap

I would like to know if that counts as a clean lap. Since doing the lap, I haven't been taking the same line out of the 9th Corner, keeping it much tidier, but haven't been able to beat that lap time. I've always taken that line out of that corner throughout my GT career (from GT1, one of my fav tracks has been Autumn Ring) and only this competition has made me question whether its legit or not. Thoughts?

I see nothing wrong with turn 9.
It's fair play as long as two wheels are on the rumble strip.

But I won't count that lap coz you ran wide & crossed the white line between turn 6 & 7. But lets see what Justin says about it.

Sorry, I count every bend in the road as a corner, a Chicane I count as two corners, so where I cross the white line is after turn 9, before turn 10, which is the same as your Turn 6/7.

i think your lap is legit lionface, it probably cost you time crossing that white line anyways, although if it had been a challenge or a licence you would have failed.. still an unbelievable time!

GT500 Qualy time - 1:12.380

Legit, no crossing white line with more than 2 wheels. I can go faster, hoping to break 1:11.xx in the race, long shot but I can see it..
