because of these issues that i cant import us replays what about we create a drop box folder where eople can people or mainly stewards can put their file in their and that way i can accesses it or some one can access it

I uploaded them all to dropbox, tell me how to share them with you?

This is why there is success ballast. The stronger the performance of the car, the higher you place (barring issues). The higher you place, the more weight you gain. The cars as is are fine. If you're getting left behind we will know it's either your skill or your car sucks. No one here is particularly slow, so all the asking for breaks to your car should stop. Wait until we do preseason races against eachother then we'll see who's car could use a break...

My standard Subaru isn't great on top end, but i think it's fine.

If thats the case, I wouldn't want to participate. So we get them as close as possible.

test session for about 45 min at tokyo. Options are very weird tires. Grip, Grip, Grip, Grip... OH ****! NO GRIP!

If you we're at the end of a med tire stint and maybe lost 2 seconds due to a mistake. Is it worth the effort to pit and throw on softs to gain the time?

we've had several and not enough turn up to get accurate data

I think we can decide the BoP at the preseason races, as for the longer tracks, Nordschliefe is an all star race, and a bunch of us voted for La Sarthe its one race and itd be an awesome season ending race.

This is what was established, we have said our thoughts so now it's up to Joe as far as track selection goes.

As for cars I've always been faster in the Garaiya.

For the pre-season races the main objective will be to observe, and based on those observations we will investigate the spec.

Sarthe will be about tire wear as much as top speed. AS long as you can hang on in the draft, (like Monza) you should be ok there.

A big 👍 to what seth is saying.

I was looking at the OP on the new one and the last 2 races are the 300km ones. Leave it the way it is. I see why Joe put those as the last 2 races.
"Big Races Guys" :) 👍 👍 👍

To clarify things a bit when it comes to cars being re reging, we are not re reging all the cars. Skeng brought up the Arta having +10hp and no weight adjustment, but it looks like all was figured out a couple of post later when he said +10kg instead of -10hp was fair so that should be the end of the car reg debate. Now the new issue of La Sarthe vs a reasonable length track is a good topic that did get resolved yet. Now imo we have a bit of a tug of war here. I actually feel both parties here. A big race at La Sarthe for a season ender sounds like a good idea to me, but also if we don't have a full room at the minimum and 300km of racing drivers could get bored and just keeping driving for their points reason only. Since these are the last races we are talking about and enough people want SSR5 vs enough people wanting Le Sarthe I think we should have one finally vote for La sarthe vs SSR5 for the season finale so I can properly micro edit the op that actually still needs a lot of work now that I took a good look at it.

-Thoughts on having a poll for the season finale at La Sarthe vs SSR5?
Depending on the feedback we will either launch a poll or the final race of the season or keep it the way it is, and that should clear up all the last debates so we can focus on season 2:tup:

Willfred I have a dropbox and all the replays so if you need something from me just tell me which race and I will send it to you via gtp. The only thing is I'm America of course and you the UK, so you would need a converter of such which I'm not sure you have yet or not?

I'd rather do an endurance race at Sarthe instead of SSR5. I think SSR5 would be better as a regular season race.

Just to be clear you mean a 8th round and La Sarthe being the season finale (9th round)?

same but here's how joe explained it to me
he trying to group the tracks together so the longs ones or boring will go first and the track favorites will go last as that way it people will stay
by grouping it it means less setting up is required
bazzer i dont see any replays in the drop box folder

I vote La Sarthe. Isnt that mentally taxing for a long track and actually feels quite short

its 4 minute track i think
with time change it makes it more pleasant

La Sarthe with time change, I don't understand the long vs short debate because why does the lap length matter? I get some people don't like long straits but there are some who do. Plus La Sarthe with time change can be magical

Also, what spec is the arta actually running in?

I love Le Sarthe with TC. But that was in Peugeot 908's (LOVE those cars) and GT500 cars.
Im not sure if a 300 car will feel out of place there, but we'll see I guess.

I like the real tracks. I can't stand the special stages and trial mountains. Le Sarthe with time change will be awesome, even though i'll be clinging to the back of an RX7 or Lexus the whole race.

It's not about the track length, it's about the cars not fitting in there! We will hit top speed quite quick and be sat bouncing on the limiter down all the massive straight's and it's boring as hell.

Will they are all in there,1 in each folder! on my way home from work so I'll look at it when I get in.

Im with rosckolove if im bouncing off the rev limiter I dont have my car setup right. During the test weekend we raced at La Sarthe it was a lot of fun.

When we raced on Saturday I think the guys would agree it looked good and we werent bouncing of the limiter the straights weren't too bad either
However we would need a ppl to get together to braking while still in a slip stream as i was braking 3 secs earlier and still tapped the guy ahead

As much as I would like to race at green hell it too unforgiving and even me in my nurburg tuned cars struggled to get round cleanly

Ending with a season with the finishing at the end of day would be cool its a challenge as I know several ppl use shadows as brake markers
