Watch what you say, joe. You basically gave a green light to use runoff. Yes, it's a longer track, but strategic runoff allows for higher apex speed and overall lower lap times, especially T1 and the final sector. I'd say to keep two wheels on the red/white rumbles at all times, barring mistakes, or else risk a lengthy time penalty, say 40 sec added to finish. To prevent one from receiving a penalty for going off track, all one needs to do is let off the gas until you are back within track boundaries. If a pass was made off track, just give it back.

I agree, it's just like cutting chicanes. One should NOT make any gain whatsoever from it and slow down to re-dress if a gain has been made.

I think penalties should be on for qualifying and then off for the race.

We got stewards watching qualy runs no need for penalties on

I agree with VELOCI and phil here. Let's keep it simple and just use rumble/white lines as boundaries. I don't want to have to keep changing/checking boundaries for every race.

OP has been updated to reflect success ballast in qualifying rule.

if we need penalties we need to ask ourselves what kind of people we are racing against, I'm not worried if the guy in front of me uses a bit more of the road then I do, as long as I don't get penalized for following his wheel tracks to maintain the split I'm ok with it,

I don't think we need penalties, especially since we're online and the game might think you're closer to one side than you really are etc etc.

Report any infractions to stewards and let them take care of it.

Human judgment works out better here I think.

Rode Runner: Lots of fun on Saturday. I think there was 7 passes between us. I pitted a lap on lap 15 (a little early) to try and past some fast laps on new tires to increase the gap between us. It worked for a while but as my tires went off your were still fresher and I could not keep pushing. I backed off and consolidated my position. Other than the car smashing in to me late in the race as I was going by it was from my perspective a ton of fun.

We probably had the most intense battle for position between the two rooms. lol Best race against someone in a long time. I want more. :)

So RX7 is down to 1170kg now? I think will help my strategy out with a little less weight to lug around.

35s dont sound unrealistic considering its the gt version of the track

:ouch: I was practicing on Fuji Speedway F lol and wondering why I was 5 secs off the pace. :dunce:

Debating to gear for running on my own or for the draft. Not sure if I can safely stay on track and keep up. A P1 session would be nice for testing. When's it going down?

Cant seem to get the last corner and that downhill right done properly. Plus took too much kerb at 2. Nutsackfishballsticks.

Qualifying times updated for Fuji GT. Thanks for qualifying early.

As I've mentioned earlier, if you schedule a time in advance, I will most likely be able to qualify you at your convenience.

And if you can't I'll be able to
