I ended up missing my P1 session so ill be on tonight 10pm pst, which I think is early in the morning for you. Does anyone have any top mph numbers for Fuji yet?

No matter how wide I take last turn I still have a lower top speed than Tokyo in the Lexus. Probably because of the BHP change

I was just hitting 160 as I pressed the brake, Hit a 36.5 earlier. Might be able to squeeze 2 tenths more but that's my limit I reckon.

I think we all are down about 3-4 mph over Tokyo. You can exit the final corner much faster at tokyo, and the straight slopes downhill, whereas at Fuji, it's flat.

Oh good so its not just me and my crazy setup/line then

My line is probably the most un-orthodox around here, but at this track it seems you can use quite a few lines and still be reasonably quick.

Hey fellas, if a lot of you are going to have to miss the thanksgiving weekend round @ Nurburg GP/F then we can post-pone that round for the holiday's?

After a few gouple of laps I was running mid 1'38's at my old reg's so once I drop the weight and find a line I guessing I can get my Cusco into the 36's range. My mph before braking is about 156mph. I'll report back my lap times & top mph after I drop the weight' 👍

Finished off P1 session with a best lap of 1:37.501 @ my old reg's. I think the new reg for this car will put it with the pack. For some reason I went up on my front rebounds & compressions with 1 less on the front brake and now I'm coming down the straight @ 159mph. That's 3 mph faster than my old setup. I'm going to just chop this up as me carrying more corner speed thru the last turn, because I would be shocked as s__t if my front suspension had a difference on my top mph!

Skeng, post the time you want to qualify in GMT and I can probably be on at the time window that you want? I'll have my station on for the next couple of hours if you want to qualify earlier in the morning your time? Just send me a pm and ill load up my GT5 acct!

I lowered the front ride height from 0 to -2 and gained a half a second! I was doing 1:37.1's, then did that and dropped to 1:36.6's! I'll see what even lower front ride height does later today.

Is anyone running no stops? Im thinking of it but the Lexus has quite abit of wheelspin if you're not careful.
Weirdly it dosen't break into oversteer on exit, just spins the tires.
I guess I'll see how the tires trend.

I think you will get run down az everyone if you go for a 0 stopper. Is a pitstop not mandatory?

Ever since Seth brought that up I've been thinking about, but the timed test session I'm going to do to determine which is better for me won't be going down until Friday night.

The front tires can definitely go the distance. They could have gone the whole race at Tokyo, and that's a much more twisty track that uses tires more. The rears on the other hand were going out by 55% race distance. I ran more camber on the rear tires than the front because the wear was the opposite pre 2.09 update. After the update, the rears (rightfully) go out faster. So I decrease camber in the rear. I donno if that'll let me go the whole race distance though.

The front tires last forever, you're right on the rears wearing faster now too.
It's going to be crucial managing not just oversteer but the subtle wheelspin on T1 and the infield which worries me.
I don't doubt I can 0 stop but I'm thinking if it's faster...

Ah hah slower is faster here for sure. Slow in fast out. Or maybe that's my newness wearing off.

Its been that way for me at turn 1 too judging from my 1st sector times. Play-offs are over so I get my Tuesdays & Thursdays back. That should help my race pace out!

I'm actually feeling confident here, Fuji is my strongest track for all cars in the game, I seem to find time here with set ups that shouldn't,

IDK about you but I can't turn consistent laps. At Tokyo I was within 1/2 or less difference each lap when I wasn't racing other cars.

Here at Fuji it's some 37s, 36s, 38s...

My laps are all in the low 37s or high 36s. For an easy 15-20 laps.

That's what I call race pace, I usually run a second slower lap times, but my race pace makes up some difference which is what I didn't do at Tokyo. I focus too much on lap times and not enough on running consistent lap times to make ground on people mishaps. I definitely working on my race pace here at Fuji! 👍

Hi there.
I just left a practice room where Tyler was the host. I wanted to test a bit the car specs of this series.
I hit a 36.6 in the Gara 08 and 35.6 in the Lexus (404hp helps a lot). Only had the time to test these 2 cars 'cause i really should go to bed now, it's 6am in France

Who is running with abs and tcs off...

And with a wheel or DS3?

What do these have to do with lap times?

Maybe there's a thread someone can direct me towards?

Yeah litchi just jacked up my world. Lol... Now I'm running around the track trying to figure out how not to use aids.

Edit. This is much better I can feel the car now.

I only use ABS on 1, and I have an old sticky DS3 (R2 likes to stick and that's my throttle). I've been playing on my lil 20" TV because my LCD started smoking a couple weeks ago. I miss having the wide screen being able to see more of the track.

Smoking what exactly?

JK... Well most repairs from Samsung for example are under $300. Had a color driver go bad on a 15 month old 63" LCD. Samsung picked up. Repaired it and dropped it back off for $300.
