So there was an inquiry pm to the Stewards about the Lexus's still being to over-powered and us Stewards went into deliberation about the matter and we came to the conclusion by vote that another 10kg max will be added to the Lexus chassis for further balancing of that chassis to the field. In our opinion this will be the last reg for this car for the remainder of the season until we try these cars out on every track and also see how the success ballast plays out as well. we hope this will improve everyone's chances at a good fight on track, and to more diversify the grid in the future. Thank You'
 
So the lexus isn't the fastest on the straight's or around the bends, was the extra weight really worthy? Now the Arta and the RX-7 are going to be even faster in comparison. Good decision.
 
I still think the lexus needed to lose 10hp more hp not gain more weight. The car has a little more oomph but not the fastest strait line speed and that is what makes it soo good. The extra weight is just going to make the car worse in the corners, wich it wasn't great at to begin with.

I completely agree. I was testing both the lexus and RX-7 at Nurb GP/F and the lexus just gets out of corners much faster and has a better top speed. The RX-7 has amazing cornering speeds and handles awesome.

Losing power on the lexus I think would be a better option than adding weight.

Just my opinion
 
The problem with the Lexus is it pulls hard all the way up to its top mph while the rx7 lags a bit to get to its top mph so you can catch it before it starts to haul a__. We added weight instead of dropping hp because we didn't want the Lexus to lose its current trap speed number but to lag it a bit getting there, which the weight will provide. All & all 10kg isn't that much and will probably only affect their lap times by a tenth or so. The rx7 still is the highest gaining mph chassis out there at 167mph by its own will. For anyone who has chased 2 Lexus's drafting each other and you following knows what we're talking about.
 
What's the Garaiya's trap speed, that would be 165MPH surely, my biggest worry is now the Standard Subaru, if tuned by the right person could be stupid quick,

TC, brake bias, 4wd bias and ABS. I wonder if i ran full downforce if id get to the 1:59s. I'll try when i get home.

I'm going to a UCLA football game at 1pm, but if I can make it back home in time I'll defintely be showing up! Ill start from the back pack tho because I haven't turned one practice lap yet.
