The RX7 was nowhere in the sea of IS350s tonight. I tried to keep up but it wouldn't come out the turns like the Lexus would.
 
Well the Lexus dosen't turn in properly and works it's tires hard. Seemed to be Even with the Subaru though.

I did a 2:00.3 with the car on my first lap with it. Compared to 2:00.7 as my fastest race lap with the RX7. It turned in just fine for me. The rear end was even a little twitchy, so there was more oversteer in the car than push.
 
Sorry guys that i haven't been able to race really so its hard for me to comment on the cars but the specs do some mis matched .

Usually when i join a practice session i cant match the lexus or arta times with the celica.

I think we made a mess of the specs and now the cars aren't quite even
 
The ARTA is quick too. I've been slowly breaking it in, at 365hp I ran some laps offline with it and could do some 2:00.6's.

I dunno maybe I just don't click with the Lexus, in my previous league my tire wear was always noticeably better than the field.

Now It's a struggle. In the Nurb race today it was also difficult to get the car where I wanted.

Also I noticed, running a GTR last time I could drive it even with very poor tire condition and it felt okay. Now even with some tire wear I struggle in the Lexus, then it falls of a cliff in pace.

I couldn`t keep up with my Subaru. Best Lap 2.01.5xx A better driver can do atleast 1 second faster. Was fun anyways. 👍 Sorry again if I didn`t give room early enough. I`ll improve next time. ( was my first real online race though )

Updated the qualifying time with Litchi's.

The premium Subaru is unrestricted so anyone not running with an engine fully broken in is going to be at a disadvantage compared to other premium Subarus. Not sure if that's the case with you, Bahundanda.

Also, don't forget the Lexus has an extra 10 kg on it now to the base weight, and Litchi was also slower than usual due to the extra 40 kg ballast during qualifying. Not saying that's the only factor, but it's in the mix lol

Everyone's updated success ballast is always in the "Overall Standings"

Yea it's weird. First 3 laps are brilliant then after that the performance dropoff is massive. I'm working on it to see if a setup change can fix it

Try shaving off 2pts off downforce on th front and rear. That's what I'm runing.
 
I think I`m running 26/42 already.

was actually 35/42, changed to 32/42 and improved 0.1

Yea it's an ackward chassis there is also time to be found in tuning the front lsd. I was running 5/5/5 & 10/10/10, but now I'm running 10/55/5 & 10/60/5 as of the Fuji round.
 
I think lower acceleration settings on the LSD lets the front wheels drive respond faster. So if you increase that number, it should behave more like a rear drive car and not AWD? That's my experience at least.

ea this is true, but at Fuji due to it's extra wideness and long straight-away's I was apexing really late and squaring off the turns for more accel down the straights (had to make up for low trap speeds) and this setting was allowing me to accel better down the straights. I was going to see how it worked at Nurburg & Mazda to see if there was something there to that setting, but if not I'll go back to the more open setup at 5/5/5. 💡

Afelin will get you signed up as soon as he gets some gtp time. In the mean time get some practice in for the Nurburg rd coming up this week, people are already 2 wks into there Nurburg setup's and it will be hard to keep up with their pace without the proper practice put in! 👍
