I seriously despise Kai Ebel. Sutil says "I don't want to talk about it." and yet he keeps asking, is he Ebel deaf or something?
I'm sure he didn't wanted to continue, but that's his job as reporter.
Remember Monza 2001 (was it 2001?) when Michael started crying and the reporter just continued with the interviews?

Was the accident in the 130R? wow... I was thinking the the 2nd corner (1st of the Ss). 130R is a really bad corner to go out with that weather conditions.

Stupid that they changed the finishing order.
The way it normally works is positions when red flag is shown, not a few laps before.
No, they roll back to the standings two laps before the red flag.

Bianchi would be fine if he decided not to be a race driver through his teens. Bianchi would be fine if a butterfly flapped it's wings a second earlier a few months ago. Bianchi would be fine if the tractor wasn't there. To place the entirety of the blame on the race promoters for not making the race earlier is a ridiculous concept when there are so many other factors at play.
Usually I would agree with this. But not this time.

There is no reason to schedule a race when you know there is an impending tsunami coming. That is just asking for trouble, KNOWING that the end of the race is going to have massive downpour when drivers are pushing their hardest.

Had they scheduled it an hour earlier, we would not be in this situation. And yes there are other factors, but not moving up the start time is such a silly decision.

Usually race directors move races forward/back in start times to avoid heavy downpours and keep drivers safe for this very reason.

The RULE is one lap BEFORE the red flag is shown. As in the last completed race lap before red.

I believe it on entry of Dunlop

Sky F1 said that Sutil told Jules car crashed into the truck... But maybe this is not true.

No, Dunlop curve where Alesi and Raikkonen crashed in 2001. It's also worth noting that the corner is scheduled to have the run-off replaced with asphalt after this race.

Yeah, I know it's their job, but when someone specifically says "I don't want to talk about it", then you don't continue.

When Sutil crash then Bianchi crash same place?

What happend? Did he crash into the recovery truck by Bianchi?

Normally it is to benefit the European viewers so they dont have to wake up at 3am to watch a race and money for advertising

Sutil crashed and Bianchi later crashed sideways into the tow truck that was towing away Sutil's car.

Anymore news about Bianchi I want to seem him driving next week. I wonder how bad it was to not show it on tv.

Sky coverage is quality as usual... very respectful.

Lots of scrape-damage on the upper part of the cockpit, supports the 'sliding underneath' theory

Honestly, I hope this brings the FIA, Charlie Whiting, the organisers and FOM into disrepute. Disgusting that it's taken this for them to actually notice that they've been lackadaisical on safety for far too long.

That... is a lot of damage. That isn't looking good.

F1 cars aren't built to cope with colisions with crane trucks. The moment a truck enters the area, the SC has to go out.

Rosberg being interviewed on the BBC. He seems really somber... Said he'd been told some bad news, might be just what we know already

"Sutil says Bianchi's crash was similar to his, but with a different outcome."

So this would mean he went in backwards, and it swung back around?

Hulkenberg ended up in the points after giving up his race in the pits... lol

Tsunami? The massive downpour was expected, and drivers knew that after lap 40 conditions would get much worse. After this point, anyone should expect a red flag at any moment to stop the race for when it does get too wet. There was a safety procedures failure here - not a fault on the side of the organisers. Why was Bianchi still going at a speed around a fast area, where a car has previously come off and is still being recovered? Why weren't the correct flags being waved to alert drivers of the danger? It wasn't until Bianchi himself went off that a safety car came out.

Drivers have driven in poorer conditions than this. There was no reason other than the scheduled race time being too wet to start to push the race forward. As it transpired, the race started a little later than usual and the rain dried up sufficiently enough for the intermediates to be the best choice. At this point, previous conditions do not matter. The race is dry enough to continue, the race will continue. Like in any other race, if it gets too dangerous again, the race will be stopped.
