Nice update, and good work on the standards. The Countach looks particularly tasty :)

After arguing with people bashing the game then bashing some more in the main forum, this thread is a breath of fresh air, from someone who is obviously having fun with the game., regardless of its idiosyncracies.

Keep the standard faith too! Great to see some of the more obscure cars, especially some of the Japanese classics.

Great pics, thanks for the positivity and I so need to look at photomode myself now :)

Looks like the standards Did ge a slight improvment (the reflection on them at least ).Yet another Excellent update ,I am now gunning for a Quattro after seeing it in action 👍

Thanks again - I'm pleased that my game experience is worthwhile being shared... I have been thoroughly enjoying taking all of these models for a test drive (well it is keeping me from swearing at that intermediate Top Gear challenge ;) ).

@sems4arsenal - you won't be disappointed... that Quattro is a real joy to throw around :)

Great shots! All of them are very realistic.

really liking the last shot of that audi.

My favourite has to be number two.

Great shots!!! Really like those pics!!! Keep them coming in pls....tks!!!

Love the new update.
Making the standard cars looks awesome! 👍

Is the Anniversary Countach pre-patch? Because it looks gorgeous!

Great shots again. :)

Nice update! I've got a Piazza, and found it a joy to drive.

Also the quattro looks fantastic!

Glad to see you're still keeping the Standards alive :)

The last set was post-patch I think - though I am not entirely certain that I have seen much difference other than some improvement in the reflections.

Here is another big update - still testing the standards in my garage ;)

Yet another Honda Civic
GT5g_AnotherCivic1.jpg

Did you guess I have a 'thing' for the Civic :D

Lil' Honda

I just had to buy the Escudo when I saw it available
GT5g_Esc1-1.jpg

It is absolutely mental!
GT5g_Esc2-1.jpg

GT5g_Esc3-1.jpg

Talking of mental... I even took the Panda out for a test drive
GT5g_Panda1.jpg

More understeer than you would think
GT5g_Panda2.jpg

I am having fun collecting some of the more 'normal' road cars
GT5g_P1061.jpg

This Pug 106 was actually quite nippy around the streets of London
GT5g_P1062.jpg

The Mk 1 Golf GTi was neither nippy nor fun
GT5g_OlGolfG1.jpg

GT5g_OlGolfG2.jpg

This Lotus was so much fun on soft comfort tyres, once I added the wing
GT5g_EliseW1.jpg

I just wish I could sneak a wing onto the one for the Top Gear Challenge
GT5g_EliseW2-1.jpg

I bought the Hyundai Coupe simply because it was yellow
GT5g_HyundCp2.jpg

Even I can make girly decisions sometimes
GT5g_HyundCp1.jpg

This Lancia was phenomenal
GT5g_LanciaR3.jpg

Trying to hook into the kerb on the corner
GT5g_LanciaR2.jpg

What a beast of a car!
GT5g_LanciaR1.jpg

This Tacoma was a beast too
GT5g_FourRunner1.jpg

GT5g_FourRunner2.jpg

A little loose at the rear added some fun into the mix
GT5g_FourRunner3.jpg

I did not really enjoy this Toyota much
GT5g_Toytour1.jpg

GT5g_Toytour2.jpg

I preferred this Mazda touring car
GT5g_Maztour1.jpg

Nice crisp handling on this one
GT5g_Maztour2.jpg

The Audi S4 however...
GT5g_S4Aud1.jpg

Handled like a three legged dog in detox
GT5g_S4Aud2.jpg

As well as the Honda Civic - I seem to be collecting the Toyota Celica too
GT5g_OlderCel1.jpg

GT5g_OlderCel2.jpg

And as far as Celicas go...
GT5g_Celicatr1-2.jpg

This one is OUTSTANDING!
GT5g_Celicatr2-2.jpg

My favourite car to date
GT5g_Celicatr3-2.jpg

GT5g_Celicatr4-1.jpg

I guess it just suited me - there was definitely a connection going on
GT5g_Celicatr5-2.jpg

I got my fastest Nordschleife lap time in it too
GT5g_Celicatr6.jpg

Oh... I need to mention this Suzuki Concept thing
GT5g_SuzC1.jpg

It is as ugly as sin
GT5g_SuzC2.jpg

But a really surprisingly fun drive - you should try it
GT5g_SuzC3.jpg

I took the Scooby out for my first GT5 test drive on snow
GT5g_ScoobySnow1.jpg

GT5g_ScoobySnow2.jpg

Such a shame about the jaggies
GT5g_ScoobySnow3.jpg

I really didn't want to throw this ol' rally car around on the dirt or snow
GT5g_OIlrallie1.jpg

It felt too precious for that
GT5g_OIlrallie2.jpg

So I took the old Pajero Rally Raid out for some dirt fun instead
GT5g_OlPajero1.jpg

GT5g_OlPajero2.jpg

GT5g_OlPajero3.jpg

Toscana really is stunning when the light fades
GT5g_OlPajero4.jpg

GT5g_OlPajero5.jpg

This ageing Lotus Elan was great fun around Monza
GT5g_OlLitElan1.jpg

GT5g_OlLitElan2.jpg

This Skyline was quite fun too
GT5g_WhiteSkyline1.jpg

GT5g_WhiteSkyline2.jpg

Don't ask which model - they all look the same to me
GT5g_WhiteSkyline3.jpg

Though I thought - this is the car to get my 'roll over' trophy with
GT5g_WhiteSkyline4.jpg

Come on... just tip a little more
GT5g_WhiteSkyline5.jpg

No such luck - the tyres caught the tarmac and swung me around back onto my feet, still no rollover trophy...
GT5g_WhiteSkyline6.jpg

This Nissan is a real beast
GT5g_NisBeast1.jpg

I was pleasantly surprised by the handling
GT5g_NisBeast2.jpg

GT5g_NisBeast3.jpg

Unlike the handling of this... errr... Mercedes
GT5g_MercA1.jpg

If only the invisible barriers were gone - such photomode opportunities
GT5g_MercA2.jpg

The lap time was so dire I decided to attempt the Elk Test
GT5g_MercA3.jpg

And finally... I can hear your sigh of relief
GT5g_XJ2201.jpg

The stunning Jaguar XJ220
GT5g_XJ2202.jpg

This should be a premium model
GT5g_XJ2203.jpg

I bet you didn't know I have a connection to the 220...
GT5g_XJ2204.jpg

My brother was on the bodywork design team as CAD/CAM manager ;)
GT5g_XJ2205.jpg

Hope you enjoyed the updates - it's a good job I have such busy Bobs so I can afford to spend so much time testing these cars. Some real treasures keep turning up so it is time well worth spending :)

Love the standard car photos!
Did the Mercedes A-class flip over in the elk test? :)

Love the Civic Photos! Great Standards all around, I have the Wedsport Celica, but havne't driven it yet. might have to give it a go. the Toscana rally photos are amazing! And that mazda TC car is one of my favorite in the game. wish it was a premium! your turning out some great standards. good job!

That miniature photo of the GSX-R/4 is awesome. Nice execution of the often overlooked miniature filter.

Nice update, great job with the standards.

Very true.

Nice work with all those standards. 👍

Yeah the XJ220 should be Premium! Amazing that your brother worked on the design. He has good taste! :) Good pics, but the standard pixels hurt my eyes. ;)

wow I thought that Jag, was the Dodge Turbo Interceptor from that Movie "The Wraith". lol some very nice shots.

Love your Jag. Reminds me of an old shot from Need For Speed II many eons ago.

That Lancia clipping the kerb is a super shot. I have a Mazda Touring in my garage, it looks great but i havent tested it. The Elan has been out and i posted some shots also. And the Jaguar looks just stunning, have to get my hand on one in the future. Overall great work again!

aha the yellow hyundai! i havent bought one in the game yet. i dunno if thats good or bad because i own one in real life

If you told me the orange Focus Rsand the Golf GTI were real I'd believe you.
Well done on all of them, they're brill.
Sonia
