I have got the game on PC. I have a very adequate computer, duel core 2.73 ghz, 1 gig ram (that is not so good), 512mb video, all that sort of thing. I have to run the game on one of my 18" monitors at 800x600 resolution, EVERYTHING on minimum and it still has some lag. Its ridiculous. I have windows 7 but really, that shouldnt matter. The game looks great even with those low settings but it is still a bit stupid.

Overall, the game is quite fun although I havent played it much. I think the lag is just input lag which everyone is getting (most people anyway), you press a button or move the mouse and it has a bit of a delay. I will fiddle with it a bit later.

You should try base jumping off the 'Mile High Club', it gives you a 1000ft-ish base jump. Which also gives you the trophy Base jumping is good fun though, and my brother has been taking advantage of the recording feature too, although as of now hasn't uploaded any to YouTube.

Just wondering, how big are the files to upload for say, 1 minute on the PS3 version? I might get it on PS3, I am not overly sure right now.

A 1 minute video is around 3.5 - 4 MB. You don't have to upload them to youtube BTW, you can just store them on the PS3 (and take them off using USB) if you want.

Over the top action at its finest...grappling hook as if you were spiderman, unlimited parachutes, planes 'n helicopters over seemingly 400+ square miles of land, guns n' attacking, vehicles for real exploration, boats too! Also a freakin double blimp holding up a nightclub...this game has it all.

You should try base jumping off the 'Mile High Club', it gives you a 1000ft-ish base jump.

I'm loving this game. After playing the demo from the PSN I was hooked. So much fun, I haven't done many missions yet I'm just familiarizing myself with the lay of the land then I will progress more quickly.

Ledendary: it ain't really your pc.
Input lag is constant, and the pc conversion is not the best, even my rig(i7-920,gtx280, 10gb ram), launching the benchmark, it always drop at 23.98 frames, no matter what config i do. (not tryed all at low, but whether i have all at max or disabled some filters it still drops to 23.98.)

But game is awesomely funny
Just checked that the cans that fly straight up into air, you can grap it an fly on it, just think to jump off before it goes boom

I would upgrade my pc if I didnt own alot of pc's. We have 2 laptops, 1 media pc and 2 normal desktops, one of which is mine to use. The other desktop is my dads, quad core, 1gig video etc etc. We cant afford to upgrade them all so I guess it just stays as it is.

I've been playing this game too much. I was driving along the freeway when I saw an antenna and a pair of windmills, and I was thinking about how much Chaos it would get me if I blew them up.

Has anyone else been annoyed that when you grapple to a car it damages it, so if you see a nice car (not that they're any good looking cars in JC2 anyway) its already damaged when you get to it. And even in armoured cars which can survive grenades, if you drive into a small plant it destroys the car. I hope they patch this.

I'm loving this game, I've been playing it now for 75 hours & at 70.74% completed.

Mm, I've had this game for awhile now, but the other day I experienced a pretty bad glitch. Basically every civilian on the whole island dissappeared. I spent hours looking around the island trying to find a civilian vehicle or something similar, I left the game for a couple of days hoping that when I came back to it they would have reappeared. Yesterday I went on it again to still be experiencing the same probelm. I went searching on the internet to find a fix, or to see if anyone else had experienced the same probelm. Luckily, I'm not the only one and what seems like 100's of people have had the same probelm. On the Just Cause 2 Forums they found temporary fix which is to enter a race then leave 'abort it'. I've found that this technique works, but it is described a temporary fix so the issue could reappear again. It's kinda made me a little bit fed up with this game at times. 👎

I have not had that problem turn up while i've been playing it for the last 75 hours.

The only glitch i've seen was when i was attacking a military base & a troop helicopter turned up so i shot it down before the men can jump out, after that 100's of men keeped falling from a water tower & it would not stop. 100's of kills later, i got out of there. it was a nightmare.

Disregard this message above, i have just got the trophy for driving all 104 vehicles. I believe there may be more than 104 vehicles in the game, since when i check my vehicle list it says 102 of 104.

I had it happen once on PC, just started a mission and ended it and its all good.

Youtube the plane on the demo Croooow. I got the full game and hardly played it, so much to do and I just kinda got over it after a while. I am not sure why but it just wasnt for me afterall.

Just got it a couple of days ago. While many people have complained about the missions being a bit repetitive, i don't think it's enough to ruin the game. It's brilliant! chargeing around the island looking for stuff to blow up never get's boring, especially when you find the armed jet plane(looks like a Harrier but it's got no hover mode - weird). And the different ways you can use your grapple to kill bad guys(get high up on a building and tag them, then pull them over a ledge - priceless). There's loads of stuff to look for between missions(GTAIV only had the pigeons). Just exploring the huge island is a joy, and yes, there IS the island from Lost at the top left of the map.

I now have about 16 hours into this game. Just pure endless fun. I have just been spending my time going to each location that has been "undiscovered" just so I have extra extraction points. I havent really completed any of the main missions yet. Just too fun blowing up everything and finding new locations.

Just discovered new fun stuff in JC2 - getting a helicopter, attaching it via grapple to an unsuspecting motorist then lifting them up and flying around the map with them hanging on. It's hilarious seeing how the engine revs and steering turns as if they're still trying to drive away while they're hanging like a pendulum! I usually take them up to the highest peak then let drop them on the mountaintop. Laughs a plenty!
