Youtube the plane on the demo Croooow. I got the full game and hardly played it, so much to do and I just kinda got over it after a while. I am not sure why but it just wasnt for me afterall.

I got the same feeling. Fired it up today for the first time. It's fun and I don't have any big negatives against the game. It just doesn't draw me in and keep me there.

Its because its all wrong....the person who should of been in a game like that(Just Cause 2) by now was Lara Croft...Then you would of been drawn in.

? So if the main character was a british chick, I would have a different view of it?
I just remembered what my main gripe with the game is. The terrible voice acting. The very first scene in the chopper was almost painful. Having just finally played Uncharted 2 and going to this a day later, the cut scenes were less than acceptable. It sounds odd but it did bother me.

Lara Croft is the s***! And her voice and grunts have always been sexy. Yes, it would have, everyone loves Lara Croft! :p

Dang I just cant believe how big this game is. I have over 16 hours into it and realized I am only 12% through the game and probably only found 1/4 of the locations. Holy crap huge. I am going to re-rent it again for another 5 days and hopefully over the weekend I will actually get a chance to play it.

Yes it's massive, after 82 hours i was 75% complete

I am pretty new to playing this style of game but DAYUM, am I impressed with this environment. The scale, detail and variety is jaw dropping for me.

The draw distance is also better than any other sandbox game I have played. The draw distance is even better than Crackdown and that was very good.

Just too bad she hasn't been in a decent game since the 90s :nervous:

Last decent TR game i played was the Last revelation(4th one in the series) on the PS1. Thought it was a good idea bringing out the Anniversary one on PS2, but damn they changed it too much from the original and ruined it, especially the boss battles. Should have been simply TR1 with updated graphics, no more no less. My fave TR of all time though is TR2.

At the moment this is the best, biggest and most fun sandbox game iv ever played. Loads to find and collect, loads of locations to discover, and loads to blow up(and loads of tools to do so!) Those who dont like it simply have forgotten how to have fun in a game, and those who have reservations about getting it - dont listen to the negatives. It's an absolute blast.

I have played the demo, and I have to say, this game is bad ass.
I want to know if this demo has a plane to fly?

It has a helicopter on the north west of the base camp that you start off in.

Got this game about 2 weeks ago. About 23 hours into it with about 20% complete.

Very fun. The only things I can complain about is the bad voice acting, and the fact that everyone knows exactly where you are after you fire the first shot. It would be much more awesome to be able to approach this game almost like a 3rd person shooter, where each base is a mission in itself.

I played the loving hell out of this game till I lost my save file with some pretty valuable upgrades and huge amount of cash. :(

I still plan to eventually buy this game when it gets a lot cheaper. I had a great time with the rental.

Don't get it for the PC though. You need a controller. The mouse and keyboard controls are terrible. I did get it super cheap though.

'I am Bolo Santosiii... leader of the reapahhs. We want to break the chains of oppressssionnn and rise up as one.'

I found the bad voice acting in line with the rest of the game, felt like a B-action-flick. Which wasn't a bad thing IMO, I really enjoyed this game. 👍 What I like about it most is that you can do whatever you want at your own pace. I still play it occasionally.

I am at more then 100 hours into this game and only at 72%...yeah, there is that much to do!

Why don't we post links to youtube's of our destruction? Or embed them or something. JC2 lets you upload highlights and I'd love to see some of your guys' stuff. I'll put my own once I get the account on the PS3 sorted.
