wow that was a good run, now i see what you mean for the lines, this video gave a better deminstration(spelling) of what you were telling me, than the other ones.
irho b is fun as hell just got to keep practicing on that mountain i keep hitting the walls, i am used to the gutters on haruna.
alo does anybody have any settings for the chaser it understeers alot
my settings are
spring
f/+20%
r/+10%
damper
f/-10%
r/-10%
stabilizer
0%
0%
ride height
-10%
-10%
toe
-1%
0%
camber
+0 degrees 30
+0 degrees 30
brake balance

accel
60%
those are my settings can some one tell me what i have done wrong.
With suspension this is how things work.
springs....softer front means looser, softer rear means tighter.....this is mainly to adjust for bumpiness though and isn't recomended to be used as a balance correction.
damper....controls the spings......this game doesn't let you adjust compression and rebound individually so just adjust as needed for bumps
stabilizer.....THIS IS HOW TO ADJUST HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS!!!!! Stiffer sway bar means less grip. If your car understeers stiffen the rear bar.....if it oversteers stiffen the front bar. If the car feels out of control in s turns or just feels sketchy in general (too much body roll) tighten both. What you are doing is sacraficing grip for stability...hints the name.
ride height.......Lower is typically better.....to a point...too low and you'll bottom out and loose shock/sping movement.
toe.....controls stability and turn in.......I just keep it pointing straight ahead, pointing the front tires out increases stability but can cause understeer. NEVER POINT THEM IN. NEVER POINT THE REARS OUT. If you're car understeers keep them at 0*
camber.....affects contact patch......use this to get better grip at each tire. Each car likes a different spot but it's generally around 2* of NEGATIVE camber.......never use positive camber
brake balance.......this is an individual feel thing......more rear bias means the car will want to spin out under heavy braking, more front bias will induce understeer. There's alot more to this than you think but I won't go into it.
LSD......stronger lsd will increase stability......stability = understeer. however once the rears a sliding it will mean more oversteer.......this is complicated to fully understand click the link in my sig.
