Kaido Racer was already released. Kaido Racer is Kaido battle 2. Which is PAL ;)

They're releasing Kaido Racer 2 in September, which is obviously KB3. :)

just bought the game and i have to say im dissapointed. Lovely lookign game but i just dont understand the controlling, it seems if i brake in a straight line i always drift sideways (like im hitting the e brake or something) and i dont understand why this game thinks understeer is drifitng, and getting the car sideways isnt.

I can't find this game anywhere. Maybe I can find it online. Reviewers ripped this game apart. I sure hope they are as wrong about this one as they were about TXR3....

lol, they have the most biased opinions in the world i buy it its only 10 bucks.

I am about to go crazy they need to quit pushing back d1gp 2005, i need that game, well atleast its giving me time to save up for the dfp
 
Reviewers' opinions are usually biased, but if a game is written off as a total piece of dog**** by basically everyone, then it proably isn't that good of a game. If I can find it though, I will pick it up.
 
Only car enthusiasts would enjoy this game. It's goddamned slow in the beginning, then it picks up the pace. Most reviewers don't even reach the first slasher and find out the awesome races you can have.

Casual gamers would be turned off this game because of the immensely slow pace and difficulty in the beginning.

Yea. Only get it if you're willing.

you hit the nail on the head. it's truly one of the more hardcore race sims.
 
Precisely. another thing to remember is that this game is pretty old. America is just getting it so by today's standards, the controls are going to seem sluggish. I'm sure as the rest of the series makes it over, ppl will have a different outlook (though it will still be somewhat outdated).
 
That part unlocks when you get to the 2nd Mountain.
I'm at the 4th right now, And it sucks for me right now. Now that my opponents have cars that are acually fast enough to keep up with me makes the blocking and corner bashing that much worse. I'm getting to the point where I have to stop playing and cool off a little before playing again or i'll smash my controller.

If you are wrong about this I am going to totally go to australia and kick you in the head because there is a crapload of text in KB3 and it might just allow me to finish the damn game.
 
PAL region has Kaido Racer (Which is kaido battle 2)

Kaido Racer 2 is coming out in a month (Which is Kaido Battle 3)
 
yes but im NZ pal lol we get nothing over here and it's usually cheaper to import from Japanese land so...
 
finally finish TXRD...is this kaido racer in english?i'm kinda confusebout this game...i know kaido racer=kaido battle2 and kaido racer2=kaido battle3...but is kaido battle 3=kaido battle:Touge No Densetsu???and drift racer kaido battle is???:crazy:
 
Hey for any of you Australians (and Kiwis) that have pre-ordered Kaido Racer 2 (aka KB3) I received an email today from the store that I pre-ordered the game from to say that the release date has changed to 1 Dec 2006. :guilty:
