Someone on here said you can swap engines? How is that possible?

Ive been switching back and forth between Kaido Racer 2 and Touge 3.

Touge 3 is pretty rad.
 
Touge 3 could be so much better if there was a sense of speed.

whats touge 3?

You can swap engines in C1 but i can't remember any in touge no denstsu?
 
Touge 3/ Road Rage 3. There is very little info out there, its a pretty cool drifting game. I would say a cross between initial d and wangan midnight? f
I just started it a couple days ago, but have been focused on KR2 lately.
I just picked up a 280zx, 350z, z31, z32. 240z left to go. I battled the guy with it, but it hasnt shown up yet. Bummeroo.
 
What are all of the tracks in this game?
By tracks I mean courses.. :)
 
ok i used to own it AGES ago(about 3yrs), had the most wiked bov sounds lol loved my yellow S15 with no wing and gold/bronze te37 lookalikes:D
The NSX was pretty cool the the blue one with the three spoked wheels driven bu a certain 'drift god' ;)

Some of them are. Not that whole list though. Check wikipedia, they have some info on there.
 
Recently bought Kaido Racer 2, man this game is great. Took a little getting used t at first, but it's really fun. My '86 Levin is tearing up the competition at the moment.

Just want to know, does anyone have a guide on the engine tuning? I'm trying the mix and match approach but seem to only get 'moderate' at best. My Altezza has 'critical', but was bought from the modified car shop.

I need some help. Anyone know when the s30 (240z) appears. I have almost completed the game and battled it once, havent seen it since then..
 
I've completed kaido racer 2,i dunno if you're talking about that one,if you do,i don't remember when,but,check out game faq's kaido racer message board,there's a topic in there with links with info for all rivals.That's where i found my info lol.

BTW,the rumor that has been around is that Genki is creating TXRD2,and is releasing it in april.Nobody knows if it is going to be a Kaido Battle 2 or 3 replica.I hopoe it's a kaido battle 3 one,because it is a lot better.

you said that you hoped rxrd2 was kaido battle 3, but it;s already been released as kr2...
 
I know,i have kaido racer 2.And for the good of NSTC users,lets hope that Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 is based on it too.
 
Just played some KR2, and one cutscene for a Slasher mad me laugh out loud. The Akagi Slasher video has so many Initial D referances in it. I know there are lots in the game, but this one took the cake. (for those who haven't seen it and want it to be a little surprise, don't read the following paragraph) I'm loving this game so much. Day 16 with 2300fans :D






It shows the petrol/gas station that Tak works in, with a white Panda Trueno. Then in the forecort int eh background there are two cars, a yellow RX7 FD and a white RX7 FC. I was in stitches seeing that (seeing as I am currently using a white FC with redsun as the plate ;))
 
Yeah,KR2 rocks.I have completed it and don't play much now,but when i was still walkingthrough it,it was such an addicting game!

Any word on whether or not the Iroha Uphill and Downhill are in Touge No Densetsu/TXRD2?
 
I've unlocked all the tracks in the record challenge (so I don't think there are any new ones in the conquest mode) and the list is as follows (Kaido Racer 2/ Kaido Battle Touge No Densetsu):

So there are a fair few tracks to play with. I think they gave us Nikko instead of Iroha-zaka (but my geography of Japan isn't great)
 
Mt. Nikko is the mountain that has the Irohazaka pass(es) on it.

If there is only one pass for Nikko listed, I'm willing to bet it is the uphill...That blows :(
 
It's always been downhill when I've raced on it, but it's a 2 lane road that feels 2 way.
 
That couldn't be right, Irohazaka is 1 lane up, 1 lane down, two completely different roads...
 
I'll try to borrow the missus' digi cam and snap a shot of the course map for you, see if you recognise it.
